Amp/PreAmp Switches in APV's

Hey,

I've heard someone mention that the, I believe it is called, amp switch in vapes make a difference. Not exactly sure what it was I was reading, so hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about. Someone was saying there liquid tasted burnt, and then someone else said it was because of the amp, or amperage of the vape. Sorry if I'm not making sense...anyway, can someone clear this up for me, or I hope they can.

Amp rating in a switch is usually an indicator of how much current/amperage can go through before the switch fails, afaik. Discussion about too much amps usually refers to battery safety (how many amps can you discharge safely from the battery). Hope that makes sense.
