Which Apvs have the highest amp limit- heard vamo has a 5 amp limit ? Can that be true ?

Hey guys,

Was checking out some regulated vv/vw mods and was wondering which ones have the highest amp limit? I would imagine they are all around 3 amp ? I saw somewhere that the vamo has a 5 amp limit ? If true then you could rock 5 volts at at 1 ohm pulling 5 amps producing 25 watts of power---- ???

Also for most apvs if you are. In voltage mode you can usually construct a coil at 1 ohm or higher that will give you a wattage higher then the wattage limit of the apv if you were in wattage mode. Does anyone know if you are truly getting wattage higher (in voltage mode) than the wattage limit of the apv (in wattage mode) ?

Vamo will not run a 1 Ohm atty. 1.5 Ohm is the min. 5 Amps max.
15 watts is the highest setting, not sure if that is the max wattage it can provide.

The innokin VTR and SVD have 5a "maximum output current", a DNA20 chipped APV has 6a/1.0Ω lower resistance limit... and a DNA30 APV a 10a/0.5Ω limit.

Also, for the Vamo.. Yes, it CAN have a 5amp limit.. but thats only when you stack 18350s. In 18650 mode, I believe its a 2 or 2.5amp limit.

Running something like a Vamo in voltage mode with stacked batts will definitely give you a lot more power than running in wattage mode or with a single cell.

Although you still have to take into account the resistance cutoff programmed into the chip, my Vamos, Zmax, etc won't fire below 1.4 ohm. But with a 1.5 ohm coil set at 6v you are theoretically getting close to 25 watts of power while still coming in under the amp limit of the device.

Running a 1.5 ohm coil with 28g works great at 6v, and is definitely putting out more power than if you were running in wattage mode at 15w.

^what chips will do the actual voltage setting when it's above the watt range? I remember measuring my mvp when I thought I was at 5volts, but it didn't exceed the 11watt range.

That's exactly what i was wondering "uncle chuck" - thank you ---- hmmmm that vape cant be good though. That stinks . For some reason ive had that vape with mechs. -6 volts at 1.5 ohms and maybe i just didnt wet it enough but it was horrible burnt.

So weird that i can vape 25 watts sub ohm and doesn't get burnt at all as long as i wet every 3-4 vapes
