I love this thing! I won it from the EcigAvenue Halloween Giveaway on Reddit and it came in the mail last week. After a week of use, its become my favorite device in the $50-$100 range.
**Pros:**
* It looks great. The paint and build quality are both top notch. No rattling of any kind. It literally just feels like holding a solid billet of metal. I like that Tesla decided to put the up and down buttons on the top, making it look incredibly beautiful and minimalistic, especially from the front. The paint is like a high quality glossy paint that doesn't pick up fingerprints very badly at all. It's sparkly and almost looks like some kind of metal flake paint or powder coating. I just wish I could have gotten the Steam Punk version! It looks awesome but I've only seen it on Tesla's website.
* Battery life is amazing. The 4,000mAH dual cell parallel LiPo battery is just great and works very well for this device. I mostly use dual coil RTAs at around .5 ohms and 30W, so I get two full days off of a charge. Also, 2A charging! It charges surprisingly fast. I've gone from one bar to fully charged in an hour and a half or so.
* Size. It's so small for what it is! 100w with a 4,000mah dual cell LiPo and its not much bigger than the ipv D2...0_0. I'm serious, here are a couple comparison pics
**Cons:**
Honestly, I have only a couple cons that I can think of...and they aren't a big deal for me.
* For some reason, there is a very short delay from when you press the fire button to when the Tesla Nano actually fires....similar to the Kanger Subox Mini. Again, its really short and I've gotten so used to it that I don't even notice.
* Sometimes when I press the fire button, nothing happens. This could just be my device, but my Tesla Invader 2 does this as well (so do my Subox Mini and IPV D2). It's rare, only happening maybe once every 50-100 puffs, but it does happen.
* As far as I can tell, there is no manufacturer warranty. I could be wrong, but there was simply zero information about a warranty from Tesla, and their website looks like it's undergoing maintenance. For a device that costs $80-$90, I would expect there to be at least a 30 day warranty in case the vendor won't replace a broken device. Again, I could be wrong. Regardless, I can't see this thing breaking on me anytime soon. It's one of the highest quality devices I've ever had the pleasure of using.
So in closing, Its built like a tank and packs a hell of a lot of power and battery life in a tiny package. Is it worth the money? I say hell yes, if this is what you're looking for. It's basically the perfect RDA/RTA travel mod, but really you can use it however you want.
When I get up in the morning, I have quite a few different choices at the moment. An IPV D2, a Subox Mini, an Evic VTC Mini, an X Cube 2, a Tesla Invader 2, and this Tesla Nano. I used to always grab my VTC Mini, but since I got this I just always want to have it with me. VERY impressed with what Tesla is doing lately.
Also, I tested out the Tesla Tornado tank that came with my Nano starter kit and it works great! The flavor is far better than my Subtank Minis and they seem to wick very well for prebuilt coil heads. The top fill works great too. Not sure where you can get replacement coils but I *think* I heard that the Atlantis coils work too. Don't quote me on that, I've always built my own coils so I'm not familiar with prebuilt brands.
**9/10**
Edit: Sorry guys, I haven't had a chance to try out the temp control yet. I've been enjoying it too much with my Billow V2 Nano and at first, a simple dual Kanthal build. For the last couple of days, I've been using a dual SS build (power mode )in my Billow and I like it even more!
