An improved vaping experience.

I was a smoker for 30 years. I started smoking when i was 11 and stopped when i was 41. I just got bored of it to be honest. I saw an advertisement in my local corner shop window for a cig-alike and i was curious. I didn't want the ecig on offer, it seemed a waste of money at £9.99 for a disposable. I took a quick trip into town, which is a five minute walk, and right away found that the local tobacconist was selling a re-chargable version of the one i had seen earlier. So without even thinking i went in and bought one for £28. The guy selling them wasn't clued up about them at all but was happy to flog me one.

Back home i took it out of the packet and put it together. The components included were a long white battery, white atomiser and brown prefilled cartridges. I really didn't know what to expect and i'd never seen anyone else using anything like it. When i first started drawing on it i just took for granted that it would be the same as a real cigarette. Well it did tick most of the boxes except the taste and texture were altogether different. It was also a little bit heavy to handle but i liked it. I continued to finish off the rest of my existing tobacco i had but used this ecig in between. Within a few days i had bought another cig-alike after i had figured out that another was needed when one was charging. I was buying the prefilled cartridges from the tobacconist for £4 for a pack of five. It didn't take me long before i realised that these prefilled cartridges were a bit too expensive. So i googled the brand name and found their website. I started to purchase there bottled e liquid once every couple of weeks after that. When i discovered that the ecig batteries would only last for x amount of charges i felt the need to buy more of them to preserve the ones i had. After about a year i had accumulated 16 batteries and a dozen atomizers all of which were in a chrome finish which looked pretty cool. I still have all this stuff.

About six or seven months ago the same company introduced their new range of products called the XL. Given that the batteries were much bigger and the "tanks" held more liquid i knew it would be more practical to use. So i made an order for an XL kit. It took a couple of days and when it arrived i was quite eager to try it out. Well it was better, not perfect just better than the cig-alike. This XL kit turned out to be, after i had done a bit of online research, an ego c kit. The company had given it their own brand name instead of calling it what it is. Anyway the batteries did last longer and the tank saved me from constantly refilling. So i continued to use it for a couple of months whilst i searched the internet for something bigger than the c tanks. Found a site that sold vision clearo's. I decided to get a couple of them and see how it goes. They were much better for capacity and the flavour and th were improved too. It didn't take me long to find a bigger battery after that either. I went with a couple of "Vision Spinners" for the variable voltage function and longer battery life to see if it would improve my vaping experience. Having 1300mah batteries means not charging for the entire day. i was much happier after that. I recently went from CE5's to T3's for the bottom coils. Have to say the T3 aren't any better with their bottom coils for some reason which i have yet to figure out. So that's what i am using now. I don't see any reason to evolve from here because i am perfectly satisfied. I used to get a certain satisfaction from smoking tobacco. And when i compare that to the experience i get from the setup i currently have, apart from taste and texture, i cannot see any reason to go back to smoking. I use 3.6mg e liquid and i like it. I don't know whether i will be reducing my mg dosage but at the moment things are fine the way they are.

Willpower doesn't really come into it for me. It seems i just forget the entire thought process connected to smoking. So it isn't willpower but just the ability to forget. I knew my bad memory would come in handy one day ;)

It's hard for me to decide whether this is an attempt at sarcasm or not. But it doesn' t matter. I just forgot about it in a second.

And how are you with books , magazines etc. You must say wow all the time. Stick with Dr seuss then if you'd prefer.

My point is that this post by you is more the size that people will actually take the time to read. When a post is to large to fit on a laptop screen most folks will just move on to the next thread. Sorry, but that's just the way forums seem to work.

Look around the noob forum, and you will see what I mean. Introductions that are just a simple paragraph normally get a lot of responses. Introductions that are a "book" don't get any (or very few).

Glad you found the forum, there are some really nice people here.
