Hey guys and gals,

I just placed my first orders in tonight. A 510 kit with spares from cignot, and an order of five different juices from Totally Wicked. We're talking 200 bucks I spent tonight. While sober I might add. I'll keep us new guys informed of my progress from swisher sweets to PV. I should make a blog. Nah, too much effort. Anyway, I'll be sure and keep you updated.

My attitude is "just get me off these analogs!" I went through the whole list of dealers on ECF and couldn't find a kit that was in stock and reputable. That's why i went with cignot. What I really think I need is a 5v mod like the Chuck or from nhaler. However nhaler is currently out of stock and the Chuck, well it seems to big to fit in my pants pocket (for work). FYI, I'm a commercial pilot and need something small yet reliable. I believe a PS passthru is in my future, but I want to see what this whole vaping thing is about.

 Hi all. I placed my first eCig order tonight, after exhaustive personal research. I found this website and I really have appreciated the advice, opinions and research that e-cigarette-forum members have posted for noobies. Cudos especially for DonDaBoomVape for the very informative thread he wrote about ecigs. I am a lifelong addicted smoker and I am researching any and all alternatives to smoking. It appears, after a lot of research, that e-cigs may be what I have been looking for. (I'm not trying to rid myself of the nicotine addiction, just the nasty smoking habit... and I refuse to dip or chew!!!) ANYWAY... I ordered the KR808D-1 Super Traveler Kit from CigEasy.com because it includes 2 batteries, the charger case (PCC), 2 cartridges and a 10ml bottle of 16mg juice, all for $50 plus $6 shipping. Hopefully, that will last me a while as I explore all the available ecig options. There are so many! It is a bit daunting to try to choose the type of vaporizer/inhalator. Then, there is the myriad of choices available for the juice! I don't even know where to begin. I guess I might start with the familiar and go for the flavor of analog cig that I smoke and then start experimenting with other flavors... Wish me luck!

So, my first vape experience is on hold til tomorrow. Dang! Cudos to CigEasy.com for shipping so fast and cudos to the good ole USPS for such fast delivery!

I just got back from the Post Office. I picked up my new KR808D-1 starter kit. Boy am I ready to try it! It appears that CigEasy gave me an extra cart, in a flavor that I didn't choose and the juice is 24mg, rather than the 16mg juice that the website said woiuld be included at no extra cost. *shrug* No biggie. The carts are labeled 16mg though. So! Now I have an additional cart to play around with. Hmmm... The info sheet included states that the batts come fully charged from the factory, but that they recommend charging them first. Okay... I plugged the PCC into my USB hub and now I am waiting for the red light to go out. The red light went out. I assembled the ecig and took my first hit. Wow! What a throat kick. I guess I drew on it too hard and instantly started coughing. Reminds me of the first time I smoked an analog cig. I guess it'll take some getting used to... Wish me luck in my quest to go smoke free! (I'll need it! )

I got (2) 510 kits today. So far the vaping for me has been 'costly', approximately $600 since mid - sept. In my case the startup costs have been about the same as analogs. I should recover the startup costs by the end of Dec. Not that I have any intention of going back to analogs but is vaping really cheaper than analogs ??? ha ha just kidding :)

I lurked here for about a month before taking the plunge. Read and watched everything. Ordered a 510 kit with PCC and extra juice from cignot. What a pleasure to deal with, even sent them my resume (they just hired some new help and aren't' looking). i also ordered some juce from TW, though it hasn't arrived yet.

I've had this 510 now for four days and well, it's just not cutting it in the nic department. I smoke Swisher Sweets little cigars and I inhale them. My friends won't even touch them they're so strong. I currently use 24mg, but ordered 36mg form TW. I hope that stuff does the trick. I have to constantly vape to get any satisfaction and I'm afraid I'm pushing my atty too hard. I love the taste and flavors and everything else, just not getting the nic. Plus I'm still trying to get a hang of filling the carts and not overfilling them. But I am learning. Just tonight I held a lighter to the end of the batt before realizing my level of cigarette conditioning.

When I get brave I will try the PTB mod and see if that helps me. I ordered five batts so batt life, while short is not an issue. I'm also learning to draw differently. Long and slow instead of short and fast. Getting used to it though.

Time will tell...
