When I was ready to buy my first kit I looked online figured out the shipping and the wait time first. Then I went to my Local Vape ship because I could hold the mod in my hand and at the time actually tested it. He sold me an istick Kit with a nautilus Mini for the same price I would have paid online. Only I did not wait for it to be shipped and have to track it in Vape Mail. I might have been able to get it for cheaper but I don't like to wait.

If your in a hurry slowtech is not the way to go plenty of online shops here in the states with cheap prices then the turn around time is days not weeks

FYI:
As long as you order items listed as "in stock" it takes about 9 days from China to Southern California.

Fasttech also has a better warranty and customer service than most authentic modders. They even have a US based return center.

FT is one of the best vendors in the entire industry, and has been for several years.

I suggest new vapers to pick up their first gear at a shop. Yes, check pricing with on line to make sure you are not getting ripped off until you find a "good" shop you can trust. But even if you pay a bit more, it is good to have your source close in case of problems or you just need help. There is a recent thread where somebody had problems with their new gear, took it back to the shop, and they confirmed it was a defective mod and replaced it. Customer walked out with it working great. While something like that is very unlikely, the "insurance" is worth something....to me anyway.

It's also a good source for your first good flavor or two you like and can vape while expanding your search for your ultimate flavor.

Once you've settled in with gear and flavors that work for you and you want to save a few bucks, by all means there are cheaper options. Remembering who helped me out a lot when I started, I continue to throw some business their way when I can. I'd like to see them still there to help the new vapers get started.

But that's just me.

With the FDA, are shops allowed to troubleshoot gear?
Taste juice?..
The b&m I go to most often is no longer allowed to touch your gear, they can guide you verbally while you fiddle with things. They still have a tasting bar but you have to pay $1 for it, which is then discounted from the price of your purchase.

I think its Better to buy from a shop too cos you can take It in if you have any problema, Ive not once bought any online and besides its a five minute walk so its convenient for me. Also i like helping them out, its only a small business an Most of their stock is smok. They have a black an green alien too that is especial to there shop, It doesnt cost any less than online either.
I cant wait to have my alien hehehe :D

That would be a fine line I can't determine since I am not an attorney. But I would think they would be hard pressed to stop/fine or whatever selling a product, then making a determination if it is defective or not for possible replacement. How can that be done without "troubleshooting?" Clarification would need to come from those "experts" at the FDA.

As far as tasting, is it that tasting is forbidden or that it cannot be free? I've seen shops that stopped tasting and other(s) that charge with money going to SAFTA or such. Again, I am not in the loop enough to have a definitive answer. Either way, would still suggest purchasing small bottles for immediate trial at the start.

That explains why you have not been in a vape shop! :D

Other then a couple "close" shops I stopped in shortly after 8/8 just to see what they were doing, I go to a really good one 100 miles away every couple months while the better half shops. If you can find one similar, it is a great place to spend a little time now and then.

OlderNDirt have you got the g320 yet?? Ive just been checking out an its cheaper than the rx300, i am tempted :)

No. Have some concern over the size with 3 18650's in a row. Will be getting to my shop in a week or so, but don't think they will have it yet to check the fit.

yea i went with VapeNW

Hope you like it :thumb:

BTW, good call on not using FT for this one. They are on vacation right now for Chinese new year until early February. Nothing is moving there until then and they usually need a week or so to get caught up.

Its about the size of a deck of playing cards so its not the smallest of mods an supposed to be quite heavy, i love the look of It in gold.
They dont have It in my shop, have to get It online.
My only problem with It is they've not including the firing bar which i love with my h priv an g priv.

I just hope my local shop has the alien in stock next time i'm there, i went with the g priv cos i hate waiting :p dont regret my choice though its a good mod an performs great. I have had a couple misfires with It though but that seems to have stopped now
