So I decided to quit smoking about a month ago after 15 years of 1-2 packs a day. No weaning, no occasional smoke, just cold turkey. Everyone suggested I start with something like 18-24mg. Meh. Started with 6mg, went to 3mg within a week. No problems.

Not really a total noob though, as I decided to do my homework before diving it.

Anyway, onto questions! I'm currently using the Wismec DNA200. I've used it with a Crown, and am currently using an innokin iSub. I've tried both nickel and SS coils, but it's still very cool, even when cranked up to 600F. Escribe says it's hitting the correct temp. I've tried tinkering with the wattage, preheat (maxing and disabling), using materials from Steam Engine, and various ones out there. All with little to no change. Best I can figure is that I'm doing something terribly wrong on some key step.

Hi and welcome. I am not a DNA200 guy, but I do use the RX200s. Just curiously, what mode do you have it set? I ask because I use SS316 wire in TCSS mode all the time on mine, and it vapes wonderfully.

I tried 316 with the crown at first, but then found out the leads are nickel welded to SS. Tried using a profile for 304, as some people said it worked well, but no luck. With the innokin SS I couldn't find exactly what they were, so I tried 316 and 304. Still a bust.
