Hi everyone.
I've found my way on ECF a while back (2012ish) but have never posted. I mainly liked to go on and browse what people discuss or to search around and answer any questions I might have.
I quit smoking in April 2012 and switched to vaping from analogs. I used to have those little janky 510 electronic cigarette sticks with the atomizers back in 2010 but they never cut it for me and I just went back to smoking. In 2012, the vape hype blew up in the Bay Area (California) and I purchased myself an Ego-C twist with various clearomizers. This bandwagoning worked out for the best and I have no regrets since it stuck to me for the better.
I made my switch to mech. mods a year later and have not looked back. I've been smoke free since April 2012 and have went from 18mg down to 3mg over the course of 3 years. I'm hoping to quit vaping eventually but right now I feel that the withdrawals will get me back to analogs so I'll quit when I feel ready.
During my time in the Navy, I was smoking like a train so I knew something had to give. My run times were horrible and my gym workouts felt like hell. Anyway, I'm glad vaping has gone mainstream at least for a short period - especially in Bay Area - and it attracted me to start my transition.
I actually came on here today to ask a question... but maybe this is not the appropriate thread to ask in.
I just came by to give my introduction and greetings to the vaping community. Thanks for having me
