An introduction & question

Hi everyone I'm fairly new to vaping & have been using this forum as a resource to get started. I really like how helpful everyone is & was hoping to get some advice on a mistake I just caught.
I picked up a kanger topbox mini (75w) combo as a second setup so I can alternate juices. I have sony vct5 batteries in my other box & have been happy with them so I ordered another. Well, I looked at the order to see if it shipped & realized I accidentally clicked on the vct3. Will this battery work ok? I don't care about the price difference but would rather not have to change the transaction if the one I ordered is sufficient.

Actually you ordered a better cell for your mod if you are going to be vaping at above 60 watts. The Sony VTC3 is a 30A CDR cell whereas the VTC5 is only 20A CDR.

Thanks. For some reason that link sent me to a coupon code thread. Anyways I'm currently running a .25 crown coil on a double battery tank at 70-80w. I know that's a lot for starting out but I went off the advice of not having to upgrade too soon. After reading a thread on here about building rba coils I'm realizing how much there is beyond the lowest ohms & matching wattage. I'm planning to use the coils that come with the tank & then experiment with building so I really don't know what power I'll be at when I find a build I like.

As mentioned with the vtc3 you will be able to fire your mod at a higher wattage without worrying about your batteries exceeding its max CDR but the 1600mah will mean it won't last as long as your vtc 5

Thanks for the responses. I'm still wondering why I haven't had problems with the batteries in my current box running up to 80. I think they're actually vct4, not 5. Would the amps be higher since there are 2 batteries? If not would I be better off getting a second vct3 & using the old ones for the lower power box?
