Hey Everyone! My name is Crystal and I'm new to this forum. I've been vaping since april of 2011 and have loved every second of it. I love being able to breathe, smell and taste again!

I've been using the standard Joye Ego dripping with an atomizer usually 2.0ohms and have only purchased juice for 3 different online vendors Viking Vapor, Bombay vaping which both every juice ive purchased I've loved..and Madvapes..juice is just not my thing..everything else they offer is AWESOME! but i want to broaden my horizons! I need Juice Recommendations!

2nd big question..Im looking into a mod..I want something with a little more punch and variation..I want a variable voltage that isn't going to break the bank, but is solid...Any suggestions? Im possibly looking into the Ego Twist..

3rd question - Whats your set up for the most amazing vape you've experienced?

Im excited to see everyone's recommendations!

1. Rawr Vapor
Kick Bass Vapor

2. The Ego Twist is a good start into the world of VV.

3. I use a Mark-T rebuildable atomizer with a stainless steel mesh wick, on a Provari.

Extra: Once you have 5 posts in and can post in other sub forums, go to the PIF(Pay It Forward) sub forum and enter my "Back To School" Contest for a chance to win an eGo Twist, a Bulli A2 rebuildable atomizer, and enough coil wire and wick to last months or longer.

Hello and welcome! As far as eliquids go, I went DIY on my second order...
My pre made juices always had flavors that I liked, but that I wanted more of...like red bull or cola I want them with really strong flavor and DIY allows me to do that. I also discovered that I really like the Pepsi cola flavor with some lemon flavor blended in...

I'm still using my ego T/C and sometimes using clearomizers on my ego battery. I have not had the need for a mod just yet, it I'm starting to get the urge for something in the VV range just to try out....

Crystal,

What are your most favorite types of juices you have tried? Are you a tobacco flavor vaper or do you like food flavors? Dessert/bakery flavors? Etc?

I was a tobacco flavor juice only vaper until I tried Alice in Vapeland. (They have a thread in the suppliers forum) They are newer but have some great tasting juice, mixed perfectly. Their flavors are unique and creative. Lots of sweet stuff and some Tea flavors that really curb the tobacco flavor craving. Might be one to try if you are too lazy for DIY (like me!)

re: I need Juice Recommendations!

Do you DIY? Buying premixed flavors are fine for many people, BUT
I am a BIG fan of DIY (do it yourself)

re: 2nd big question..Im looking into a mod..I want something with a little more punch and variation..
I have grown accustomed to the 4.2v ECHO Manual Battery for 510/eGo (1300 mAh)
4.2v ECHO Manual Battery for 510/eGo (1300 mAh) (ECHOBATT)
Dragonfly eCigs - Distributor of Joyetech 510-T, eGO-T, 510, eGo, and large variety of MOD
Don’t forget the JOYE eGo Wall Charger

re: 3rd question - Whats your set up for the most amazing vape you've experienced?
Your major decision is top coil or bottom coil (Currently I prefer the bottom coil CE3)
CE3 Smokymizer - 5pc (2.8-3.1O) White
Dragonfly eCigs - Distributor of Joyetech 510-T, eGO-T, 510, eGo, and large variety of MOD

I find myself going for a lot of Bakery / Dessert vapes..anything sweet I seem to truly enjoy. I love Banana Creme, and Bavarian Cream from Viking vapor. I like some tobacco flavors like Ry4 from Bombay..have really been wanting to try a good 555. I will definitely have to check out Alice in vapeland so thanks for the recommendation! :)

As far as DIY goes..I've thought about trying to get into it.. im just not sure where to start...Do they sell DIY kits just to get started or get a feel for what the heck you're doing haha?

Ego twist is solid. I use a provari but my twist is always going as well. Twist+cisco 306+DCA is an awesome vape.

Will definitely keep this in mind! Everyone seems to use the provari!! If I find I truly enjoy the ego twist I'm gonna look into saving up for one! I mean you can't go wrong with a Mod everyone seems to rave about! lol

If you got over 200 bucks to spend then go ahead and get a Provari. If you want to be frugal then the EGO Twist is where it's at. The Lavatube is a piece of crap that lowers your voltage without telling you that it's doing it, and that's off the voltage that it never seems to get right. Proof here: LAVATUBE FOLLOWUP - YouTube. I can't speak 100% for sure, but at the price offered, I see no way that the Apollo V tube is much different. The difference between the Provari and other APVs is that its amperage at 6v allows it to vape 3.0ohm atomizer where it should be closer to 4.5ohm at 6v according to commonly accepted norms. Couple that with the fact that they Lavatube is an inferior liar about its voltage and that it lowers your voltage, on dual coils without telling you, confirms that the Provari reigns supreme.

If you ask around you will quickly see that most APV users vape within the 4-5v range. The Twist is 4.8v. In my book, for the price, that's close enough. So, at the end of the day, you can choose an ultimate vaping device (The Provari) for $200+ or you can choose the EGO C Twist for $20ish and get most of the benefits of the provari. The difference is literally 10 times in price while the difference in vape is probably closer to a miniscule difference in vapeage unless you are a dual coil lover. The choice is yours. Money or tiny advances in vaping.

Crystal, you can safely ignore the rant above about the lavatube unless you insist on using dual coil cartomizers. If you really want to use dual coils, then the lavatube (and Apollo Vtube) are not for you. But then again, neither would the Twist.

Of course, nobody has ever been able to explain to me why I should WANT to use dual coil cartos or what I'm missing by not using them. So, I have to assume all the hate for the lavatube/VTube is just a tempest in a teapot.

With that caveat, you can ignore all the slander about the lavatube and Vtube. It works fine and provides a great vape, all at a price that is a fraction of the Provari.

The lavatube/Vtube is not built as well as the Provari, nor does it have as many features. But it's substantially less expensive. So its just a matter of determining your priorities.
