I've had them fly off the charger not super fast but enough to fal behind a chest of drawers and onto carpet but that's about all the drops i have had

I have .. no issue as long as the battery didn't dent or jacket hasn't torn in spots..

EDIT: take a pic for us and let us see it. especially the positive end

Any battery I've ever dropped, I don't use anymore. I was just curious if anyone else was the same.

Last summer while switching out batteries, i had one fall right into my Sour Mash & ice.

I tossed the cell, but not the drink..

Same here, exactly. Those are by far the only times I've ever dropped batteries. Those springs on my Efest and Nitecore are damn tough.

Well if the battery isn't dented, torn, the top insulator flew off, or it blew up like an M80 after hitting the ground, I'd use it. But that's just me.

Worst I ever had happen with a battery was it flew out of the charger which sits on the lowest shelf of my Network Rack and almost slipped between the leg of the rack. U shaped channel steel legs. Almost could have shorted but it is a heavily painted surface and it was sitting on the edge of the wrapper so even if positive touched negative wouldn't have. My heart did skip a beat though!
