So, I ordered a Black Wrinkle Reo Grand on the 9th from Rob, and then waited..and waited..and waited. Not that he delayed sending it, nope, he sent it at once.

But international mail, customs............ AAARGH!!!

Here's something funny, at least in Denmark: If you order without T&T, then you can actually track it once it passes customs. I didn't know that, until one of my guys mentioned it. And sure enough, it was in the local distribution center. Would I wait until tomorrow? No chance. I called them up, talked to a nice woman on the other side, established what kind of ID they would require and....

It's in my hands NOW.

Rob, that is a complete work of functional art. Just plain beautiful. Here it is with a Boge 2.0 carto on, running on a 55/45 PG/VG 10mg (no flavoring), with an AW IMR 18650:

The vape quality on the Boge is fantastic!! I'm still waiting to receive a couple of RM2's so I'll be vaping this for the next couple of days. The only thing that surprises me is the size--or lack of same. Amazing.

I couldn't be more pleased.

Apart from a nicotine buzz (kinda predictable, neh?), this thing is da bomb. I didn't expect it to be so easy. I was worried about the whole squonking business, but it's a cinch. Every 5-7 vapes, light pressure, repeat.

I realize that once I pop a RBA on it, I'll probably have to practice a bit, but with a carto it's a no-brainer.

Side note: Like most technophiles I have a tendency to form emotional attachments to the stuff I buy and use, but I haven't had it happen this quickly. A colleague asked whether he could try it (he's on egos and CE4's at the mom), and although I said "sure", I was watching over Grandi like a mother hen. Go figure

This is the best thing I've given myself in years

Yep, completely tasteless

I got into it when I was testing RBA builds, and one day, while I was working on a dripper and not getting it to work properly, I realized that I actually didn't mind the 'taste'. It seems to me that nicotine itself has an 'ozony' kind of taste that I like, which is masked by flavors. From that day on I ditched them--once in a while I try one out, but it's too overpowering.

Makes life easier when mixing too

Yeah, it does. It's really counterintuitive that a box--albeit with rounded corners--feels so ergonomically just right. But it does. The finish on the wrinkle is soft, yet completely non-slip. I could stand in a hurricane and not lose that grip.

Heh, it bodes well for the future of vaping when you longtimers have the same enthusiasm as the newly converted.

No matter what setup I've used before it always felt like a compromise. With this.... felt at home a couple of drags in. It feels like a familiar tool from the get go.
