The 2a output limit is a bit light. You would also need to look at the efficiency graphs, I doubt it is 93% efficient across the board.

I have been using those for about 6 months now... its alot easier than buying everything separate and supper easy to install. I just wish they were a bit smaller and that would make them awesome.

I'm almost cool with that considering the voltmeter but I think I would rather use the board I just posted and just buy the meter aftermarket and wire it in separate.

The specs on that board might not be so accurate. 20 watts would be 10 volts 2 amps. But if you dial it down to 5 volts 20 watts would be 4 amps. I would say the watts rating is more accurate because a amp rating really is no good without a voltage rating to go along with it. If you dialed it down to 1 volt a 2 amp load would be all of 2 watts, thats not very hot at all. On the other end of the spectrum if you dialed it up to 20 volts and ran it at 2 amps thats 40 watts. I think they just used the middle of the range voltage which is 10 volts to give it a amp rating.

I found one I had buried, identical to Mamu's.

On a breadboard I used a pair of 14500s, cranked the voltage all the way up (it will go to 5 something unloaded) and hooked up a 2Ω resistor and then metered the loaded volts.

~4.5V, which is about 2.3A and ~10W. If those parameters suit you, have a ball.

But as Java noted the watts aren't set in stone. Probably could not get 10W from a 1.6Ω DCC, cuz it can't provide enough current, You could not get 10W out of a standard 3.2Ω Boge carto either as that would require about ~5.7V which this assembly can't do under load with a pair of cells as input.

Clear as mud, right?

They work great with 12 to 18 v 5amp sources, I only have two with 14500 batts and those are also PTs and only switch to batts if I stray from my source.

I've been using the first one that you have listed from ebay without a problem.
Waiting on a couple of 18650 series bat boxes and they will fit perfect on the top part
