angels and demons mech mod question

Have a quick question about this mod. Just got mine in, its the clone from vaportek. I put in a flat top battery and it won't fire. I then put in a button top and it fires but won't screw in flush. My other mech mods (nemesis, and stingray) both have an external button, while this is internal. I know some won't work with flat tops, but the fact that it won't screw in all the way with the button top makes me think I am missing something. I tried playing around with the pin on top, but if I unscrew it any from the dripper (using the one that came with it), it won't fire, and when I play with the screw on the bottom, it just spins the whole button around and won't adjust. Am I missing something, or is this just a case of getting clone. Don't want to mess with the button too much. Other than that hits about as good as my copper stingray, which is surprising. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Here is a picture of the gap. There is none when I put the flat top in, but it won't fire. Using the efest 18650 hi drain if that makes a difference.

I'm sorry I don't have any answers to your problem. But, just so you know, yours is not a clone. It is the same mod from the same supplier and the same manufacturer as any other A&D mod. There is only one.

That's good to know. Thanks for the info. I figured when it was a third the price and they were asked to take the description down it had to be a clone. Works great just the battery issue. The dripper is the best I used yet. Deep well and nice vents. I love it.

Chuck, E-Clouds commissioned a Chinese supplier to have it produced. The supplier or manufacturer then sold it to others as well. VaporTek copied E-Clouds description word for word, and was asked to remove it.

Good to know. I guess the manufactured in the USA should be taken with a grain of salt then lol.
