So I've had my mod about 3 weeks I love it minus the juice spitting into my mouth. It's gorgeous brass but it's not as shiny anymore but still nice. This is my first n only mech mod. I think I may try a new aty since it keeps choking me with spittle any suggestions?

Are your coils fairly close to the inside of the cap as opposed to close to the center of the atty? A couple of clear pictures of the build would help. If that's not possible, tell us more about your setup. Wire gauge, resistance, coil design and placement.

IMO spitting is only slightly dependent on the atty, more on the build.

It does for a few days then the shine is gone with tarnish and I have not been able to get the bright shine back and it feels good in the hand it has nice weight. I did find out mine is a clone

Get some Nevr Dull. That is THE best stuff for removing tarnish... super fast and simple to use.... we used it for polishing brass when I was in the Navy.... and trust me, we polished a LOT of brass...

I can only imagine lol. I'll look into that thanks.

No problem... best thing is that it leaves a thin protective film that makes it last a bit longer between cleanings... I imagine it won't last quite as long with the constant handling that we put our mods through, but it definitely won't hurt it... just keep it away from the inside of your atty and off your drip tip. :)

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks again
