Can somebody please fill me in?
I am asking because I wish to know what I can say (post) and what I should not say (post), because it would not be wise.
In Germany and in the EU, vaping is currently under big attack from Big Tobacco, Big Pharma and Big Government. They all stand to lose Big Money.
Each citizen who switches from smoking to vaping will
1. no longer pay money to Big Tobacco,
2. no longer pay a lot of money every day to Big Government (the cigarette tax on 1 pack of cigarettes in Germany is a whopping 3.65 Euro - PLUS VAT). In Germany, cigarette tax is the No 2 "consumption" tax, after gasoline tax. We are talking BIG money here.
3. not pay money to Big Pharma on costly and useless NRTs (nicotine replacement stuff - which replaces nicotine with nicotine.. yeah.. sure... ) or on dangerous and even deadly stop-smoking drugs
4. not fail to quit smoking and thus go back into the claws of Big Tobacco and Big Government, paying all that money to them again - while listening to smokers being vilified and "denormalized"
Thus, in Germany, in the forum, it is .. wise.. to avoid certain subjects. Because any un-wise thing you say may play right into the hands of the scaremongers who want only our best - our money. They read in the vapers forums - and they use anything that is said to spread their FUD and their lies.
