Anniversary on the brink

It's almost been a year since I came here with my ego batteries and CE5s. I then graduated to an APV, only to find myself chasing clouds later on. Did all my research here in the forums before I made each advancement. Folks here have helped me to no end, and I felt that it was finally time to give back by saying thanks.

Anyone else who is now joining the ECF, you are amongst good company.

While it is almost my one year anniversary here in the ECF forums, it is up and coming on my two year departure from chewing tobacco after 17 years. No more waking up in the morning with a shredded lip and hint of wintergreen Skoal on my breath. Instead, I wake my wife up to the sweet smell of burning papaya, kiwi, mango and pomegranate as she has to use a machete to cut her way through the immense fog.

Congratulations!!! You also no longer have to worry about swallowing while dipping. (I might of had a hobby of smacking my friends on the back of the head if I knew they were dipping back in high school...). Papaya is one flavor I haven't even thought of getting till now. Thanks for that

Congrats!! that's a tough one for a Southern boy...all the ones I grew up with still dip, and two have come to Houston, and been treated at MD Anderson Head & Neck in the last 35 years too..so good for you!!

Been there done that with kissing the "wintergreen" ...your wife REALLY appreciates it ..trust me!!

That is awesome! Congratulations! I just joined myself and looking forward to being part of the community! I don't know if this is a habit for everyone that chews, but my dad used to leave cups of spit everywhere. Thank god I had never mistaken it for something else

I'm a few months behind you, but it's so amazing to be rid of the "stanky stuff". I haven't made it to cloud-chasing, but I'm a rebuilder and DIY-er of my own juices, and I can't be happier.
