Just wanted to introduce myself on here. This is a great forum! I've used tobacco in all forms almost all of my life and for the last 7 years have been exclusively dipping (not dripping!). Time was coming that I HAD to quit! After doing some research I recently purchased a Joye Ego and love it. Anyways like many of you, vaping is a new hobby of mine now. If I get anymore hobby's my fiance is gonna put a foot in my .... Haven't had any tobacco since I got my ego, so she is happy with that.

Has anyone else used E-cigs to stop dipping?

One more question...
I use to dip a can a day of Copenhagen Skoal Wintergreen. I am currently using 18mg liquid in my Ego. I plan to ween myself down over a period of time.
Was I getting more nicotine dipping skoal and less with the 18mg liquid or would it be the other way around?

Thanks for reading!

Grats and welcome!

Wow no idea vs dipping. But 18mg is a nice level It's what I started on. After 2 months I started working my way down. I would start buying only the next lower level in my faves and new juices I wanted to to try, plus some Plano 3630 latching boxes. On a weekend I boxed up the old juice and switched to my box of new juices. By the second drop I was using cartomizers so I just started topping off my cartomizers with the new level and that spread the switch out over several days. The 10-12mg still has Ok TH but the drop to 6mg was a pretty big drop in TH. I now vape 4mg and some 0mg but I just can't give up that last bit of TH and go totally 0mg.

Hard to say , with the dipping . You probably got a little more nic. dipping , But with vaping , there's no harmful ingredients , to worry about . Plus it doen't cause mouth cancer . And like dipping , there are lots of different flavors , to try . Actually , way more flavors , than dipping . ANd , to answer your question . Vaping , will help you get off the dipping Habbit . You may find that you need to up the nic. level for awhile , and ween yourself off the nic. gradually . But you will get there , with a little trial and error , on your part . Good luck .

Thanks everyone for the answers. It really helps. I've already sworn off dipping. It's pretty easy when I love vaping much more. Dipping is very inconvenient and is very bad on mouth, the very reason I quit. I've been getting all my stuff from vaporkings cause they have a store in my town. The e-juice I have been digging is the RY4, Dr Peppah, and blueberry. All three darn good stuff. Again thanks for your feedback.
