Another gripe on juice. If you are a premium maker try making your flavors consistent. Nothing is more annoying than this to me . I'm still researching a more affordable juice til I start making my own . The problem is I have this certain flavor by a certain well known juice line and the flavor is seriously different than the first bottle I ever got . So the first bottle I bought was a thing of beauty and wonder. Just this rich caramelized pineapple upside down cake with. Notes of vanilla cream and cherry. Just outright amazing depth and oh my god slap your momma flavor. Last 2 bottles ? Flat pineapple and subtle cream . Where's the wonderful caramelized sugar notes and sharp pineapple and cherry from before? So bummed. It's not a steeping issue the flavors simply aren't there. Not even the same smell. It's like it's been washed with mediocrity lol. Can't wait to mix my own as I'm sure this will enlighten me as to how and why this happens. Maybe the mixers aren't aware ? I'm sure they are not. If this had been my first try of this juice I would have never bought another bottle much less 2 . It's like comparing champagne to box wine with bubbles. Not even close .

Thats another crapper with buying commercial juices. Its made by someone and that someone can screw it up and you end up paying for their mistake. I found a great juice that tasted like the old cherry chicklets, vaped that 30ml then ordered another and it was literally crap and didn't taste nothing like the first bottle. I told them and with no response from them.... they lost a customer.
I DIY now and every mix is the same as the last mix and no one to blame for a mistake but me

Been there, done that. It's what got me started in DIY. And, saved a whole lot of money in the process. ;)

that has been a problem for years even with the best of them.
one year i restocked some flavorings for my DIY mixes and my awesome ADV strawberry ice cream milkshake never tasted the same afterwards. i realized my previous flavoring bottles were over a year old and that perhaps some flavorings need to age/steep too and it could be the flavorings themselves are not the same from batch to batch as well! Other than human error or tastebud/equipment reasons, perhaps this is why some juice maker's juices are not always the same sometimes too..

my strawberry ice cream milkshake did become close to awesome again about 6mths after i restocked those flavorings, so some flavorings really could be a big reason why vendor/maker juices taste different IMO

Tricky business that is. Juice is a lot like wine, it still continues to 'work' after bottling. Same juice with another setup may taste already slightly different. Had me a DIY-energy drink blend on my Subvod, tasted flat. Squirted some of the same juice into a crusty ole CE5 ( don't laugh :) ) on a whim and was pleasantly surprised.
Vaped the same juice on an icy, windy day and it tasted slightly different from a humid, muggy day.

Add to that liquid-makers that might muck around with their formulas without telling their customers or even mess them up sometimes and still let the product hit the shelves. Add to that your own taste buds changing with progressive de-gunking of your system ( if you're a former smoker ) and matters move from tricky to daunting.

More so an argument for DIY. Some of my mixing experiments do not work out at all. Difference is that chucking 10ml trial blend is a few cents lost instead of a tenner or more for a ready juice...
