I've been around these boards for awhile, but rarely post on this or any forum-type boards since ... well, I just don't. I was about to go post some positive comments/reviews for a number of suppliers in the positive feedback forum, but lo and behold, that section is affected by the new member restrictions.

So while this isn't a total spam or post-count-increase posting, it is serving two purposes: 1. To get my post counts up and 2. to voice some frustrations with the system. This isn't a rant, and I know there are probably issues with spammers or something, but I'm essentially told that I'm forced to post 5 times about stuff which I have no opinion or thoughts on. I'm not going to post for the sake of posting, but it would appear that maybe I have to.

So maybe I'll come up with some interesting things to post. I only need two more to get to 5, then I will be able to give vendors some great feedback, although by that time I'll probably be so burned out on doing all this that I'll just forego it and hopefully I'll remember later.

So let's see.... What to find for my first "Newbie Mandated" post... Hmmm... Perhaps ... Ah! Yes! I just hope the mods here have a sense of humour and understand that while I'm essentially making increase-post-number posts, I'll at least try to make them interesting.

And with that, I go. For now.

...consider...you can post hellos to 5 new members in 5 minutes and be done with it...still havvta wait until the forum software refreshes(about and hour)...I thought this a kinda off putting rule when I first joined, BUT, I have seen many spammers try and flood the board since them and they were stopped flat by the 5 post rule so, it does do some good(I guess)................

This part of the forum has at least half a dozen of us watching, helping to inform the new vapers, and usually a mod or two not far away. It's easier to keep the spammers channeled here...for swift and merciless extermination.

If you are new here, and are reasonably informed on PVs and how to use a web forum, as long as you don't look like a bot... make your five and go where you need to go.

LOL! All I did was post 5 quickies, "good to know", "cool!!!!!!!", "Very interesting", "Wow!!!!!!!", and the classic "This is my fifth post:D". Congrats and welcome to the forum. The moderators are good peoples. Just don't post really bad pics and be respectful and all will be well.

[POST.COUNT.PADDING]Your avatar is awesome, man. I nostalgia'd pretty hard just there.[/POST.COUNT.PADDING]

Same boat as you, Mangraa. Just gotta respect the rules.

If you knew how many ripoff rebrander and wholesaler spammers come here and try to spread their bs you would understand. This is to protect new vapers from lying ripoffs. They are trapped here for 5 posts and we do catch them, no matter how tricky they think they are.

Replies count too - greet a couple of people or since you are some kind of expert you could help a couple of people. An hour later you can post anywhere.

When I joined, I did sort of the same thing...but I had a few questions that ate up those 5 real quick-like. I don't know how much attention you're paying to the other posts yet, but I've seen quite a few -random chinese company- posts that are copy-pastes of their product information.

I imagine that it's much Much easier for the mods to go "Oh hey, look at that spammer in the newb forum" than searching through the other 1000 forums on here.

But you seem to have so many interesting things to say!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your complaining post! You really should post more often :)
I agree :D

If it's too much 'work', then just back away from da keyboard and rest up...
