I made this 18650 flashlight mod a few days ago. It's a cheap Chinese 9 led flashlight I got at the flea market for $1. Since the switch is on the bottom I'm calling it the Toilet Paper Holder. I've been hitting on it for 3 days now(not exclusively) and it's still at 3.8volts! You gotta love the 18650's. I've been using it with a 1.7ohm LR306 atty.

This is the first I've used a lr306 and I like them a lot, by the way. They give a very nice, strong vape.

LOL, sadly it is a real pain in the ..... These cheap Chinese flashlights I got aren't very conductive it seems. I've had a hard time getting the cap to keep a ground to the body. It'll work great for a while then just stop working, so then I have to fiddle with unscrewing it and screwing it back on till it makes a good contact again. When it's firing I love it though.

Copper WabDan, Copper. Not many materials (that are cheap) that could beat the conductivity of copper.

Looks good man. I got a drill press for xmas, so I'm gonna try my hand at making something cool before to long lol.

Now that's what I need. A nice drill press. I have one that you insert your portable hand drill in buried somewhere in my garage. I was looking at benchtop lathes. The cheapest I found was $499. The Grisly.

Not sure where you live but if your in a populated place and you keep an eye on craigs list you might find a mini lathe cheap. I got mine barely used for $250 with extra tooling. Might take some time but would be easyer on the pocket book.
