I love this statement: Electronic cigarettes are battery-operated devices that look like cigarettes. An LED light inside the device warms a replaceable cartridge that is soaked with nicotine. The light vaporizes the nicotine, which is then inhaled by the user.

I didn't know I had a light on the inside that heats the liquid....LOL!!

And this statement: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is investigating e-cigarettes and conducted a limited study in 2009. The study found that the cartridges contained detectable levels of known carcinogens and toxic chemicals, including ingredients in antifreeze.

At least I'll know we all are protected from harsh, cold winters....LOL!!

All I can say is WOW HOLY CRAP WOW! Really???

Proplyene Glycol - found in antifreeze. Also found in cake frosting. Toothpaste. Food flavouring.
.... (there's that big .... again!) what they don't say is that it's a D-I-F-F-E-R-E-N-T type of PG. Nope, they just want to make it sound as 'bad' as possible. I despise BASHERS of our product.
"There is none so blind as he who will not see" (partial lyric from an old Ray Stevens song). These bashers of e-cigs are blind, coz they do not want to really understand our product.
PS - I'm not a seller of any e-cigs - just another homie who loves vaping...

When somebody tells me about PG being in antifreeze I mention to them that hydrogen dioxide is what makes up over 54% of all antifreeze...and for those of you not in the know about the dangers of hydrogen dioxide that would be god old H2O!!!:)

I prefer to die any day with an e-cig in my hand (you'll never pry this one loose) than an analog any old day! all I know is - the second day of vaping (also 2nd day of stopped analogs) my horrible smoker's hack went away. Period. I can smell and taste things again.
I see it this way - we're all 'terminal' anyway - one thing doesn't kill us, another will, so whatever.
"This is life - nobody gets out alive!" LOLOL ---- so what if I'm vaping some weird chemical - it doesn't make me cough!

Interesting how the writer even posts her email address and i assume a phone number.

    Marissa Harshman: 360-735-4546 or marissa.harshman@columbian.com.

I wonder how many people contacted her to re-educate her on the errors of her article. i think it's amazing the article even got published with such glaringly wrong facts.
