2 weeks later and 4 coils are down the garbage can. I had far better experience with Nautilus BVC coils, but the Atlantis BVC coils are failing left and right on me. Even after using two separate cleaning methods that have worked perfectly on Nautilus BVC coils for months, Atlantis coils turn in to duds the very next day. They start to dry hit at around 24.5 watts after 14ml of juice.

Using same juice 80vg/20pg, 0mg Nic.

Got an RDA and RBA in the mail. I had fun with this tank, but its going in to permanent storage next week.

Its a great tank, but hard to recommend for long term usage as it eats coils at high rate.

The Nautilus BVC coils have been put through constant abuse and lasted for 2 weeks +/each and 60ml of juice. Out of 4 coils, only one coil prematurely failed after 2 days 15ml.

Atlantis coils; dont work at 30w with out dry hit, and die off on day two. If i want the Atlantis coil to last past 4 days, i have no choice but vape it at max setting of 22.5w.

These "measurements" are based on chain vaping while consuming Red Stripe 6 pack, as if you were chain smoking a cancer stick.

I'm certainly no expert and maybe I'm just lucky......or maybe I'm just too stupid to know what the he!! I'm doing, but I am coming up on two weeks with the Atlantis with the first coil still working fine. I have it on a ZNA 50 clone vaping 50-50 juice mostly on 9 mg nic. I started at 20W and adjusted it from there up to 30W and bounced around there for about a week. The last 4 or 5 days have all been at 35W, what seems to be my sweet spot for me with my juice. I have not tried other juices yet, just using it with my ADV juice for now.

And dang! It sure is hard to set it down for half the day, but sure is nice to grab it mid afternoon to get me through the rest of the day! I've been waiting for a few more opinions on the Kanger sub to decide if I want to get one of those or another Atlantis.

Edit: 30+ ml of, what seller advertises as "sweet" juice. Probably close to averaging a tank and a half a day.

I vape 32w ~ 40w+ with the Atlantis using 50/50 clear non sweet tobbacco flavors.
Still using the first head, has at least 70ml through it of 2 different tobbacco flavors, never been cleaned or dry burned, never a single dry hit, no loss in flavor or vapor.
One I use around 25w ~ 28w usually 26.5w for a sweet flavor 50/50 it is a known wicking material clogging coil gunker uper, I only get around 30mls out of a head with this juice.

Might be the VG or flavorings.
Flavorings especially if they're sweet or colored can cause wicking material to clog, then caramelize next to the coil causing reduced wicking ability then dry or funky tasting hits.
IMO, high VG and too low power will cause rapid residue build up on coil.
Sweet or dark or colored or thick or high VG will gunk up heads quickly.

I've been going through a very aggravating situation for the last 2 weeks since purchasing a Nautilus mini powered by a Tesla after many coils I notice that my centering pen floating center pen on the tank was pushed up into the tank way to hard no longer a floater even though my mod has a center floating pen as well there just simply wasn't enough room I made a shim to go between the tank and the Mod at the ground post now I take my tank off to refill it I don't find my center pin on the tank pressed way to hard up into the seal and the ohms on my mod are no longer jumping around all over the place and the flavor Is great regardless what kind of juice I vape so if you take your tank off and you find your center pin rammed up into the tank and it's no longer floating it could be thrown the ohms off on the tank is smashing everything together I couldn't believe how much difference it made

Its White Label Co juice. So its clear, low on sugar since i only vape fruit based juices. Once a week i will vape 5ml of Bobmies Nana Cream, and thats yellow in color.

I don't think they are meant to be cleaned and reused.

You could be right, but they dont last even with out cleaning. Even soaking them in hot water for 15min shouldn't do any harm, but they are useless as soon as they dry off over night. The nautilus coils worked far better with out so many issues.

Maybe i just got a bad batch from being an early adapter and pre-ordering everything before initial release.

Oh well, life moves on.

If they lasted a long time and could be cleaned and re-used over and over again, it wouldn't be good for business...

Fruit based juices are considered sweet they are some of the worst at clogging wicking material, caramelizing wicking material surrounding the coil & coil gunking add to that high VG & low power = low head life.

The one I only get around 30ml out of is used for what most would consider a tart green apple watermelon flavor.
