I originally reviewed some flavors from DDV back in July (thread here...http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...iews/444593-darkest-day-vapors-4-reviews.html) but thought I'd come back and review the flavors I've tried since then.
Quick update...'Shai Hulud' (sweet pipe tobacco/blackberry/caramel/hazelnut) and 'Vampire's Kiss' (strawberry/cream/champagne) have remained my two all-time favorite juices. I tend to vape 4-6 different juices/day but these two are always my primaries. 'Red Ape' (banana/butterscotch/caramel/bavarian cream) is close behind. The banana in 'Red Ape' is NOT 'candy-ish' (which is good since I hate banana runts). Oddly enough, even though I prefer the flavor of 'Red Ape', I find myself reaching for 'Vampire's Kiss' more often.
Ok, here are some more juices...
'Cenobyte Delight' (chocolate/raspberry/cream) - As I've mentioned elsewhere, I deliberately had not ordered any of DDV's chocolate juices due to bad experiences in general with chocolate flavors. But DDV sent some as a sample and I'm glad he did. It needed some steeping but matured into a wonderful creamy chocolate. I can taste the raspberry but the chocolate predominates. Here's a link to a thread with another person's opinion of DDV chocolate. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/481517-darkest-day-vapor.html
'Succubus Nectar' (strawberry cake) - DDV's other strawberry juice. I prefer 'Vampire's Kiss' - it tastes 'clearer' to me - but, in all fairness, I'm not particularly fond of most cake/roll flavors. I can definitely taste the 'cake' here and the strawberry is not 'candy-ish'. It's not as sweet as some cakes I've tried.
'Goblin's Blood' - (apple cinnamon danish with caramel) - I really like this one. It seems a bit lighter on the 'danish' than 'Succubus Nectar' or maybe I'm just tasting the other flavors more. This one didn't need much, if any steeping...tasted good ROOB.
I've tried several other juices that I will not review since they were featured for Halloween and are no longer available. Suffice to say, I will be haunting the site next year waiting for them to re-appear. ('Pumpkin Head' - pumpkin spice/vanilla chai with a bit of butter rum and vanilla cream - was out of this world.)
