Hello all you wild n crazy vaporerers out there.

Got the notion back in early October to finally give up the analogs. A buddy from work vapes, and I asked several dozen questions before digging into the .net to find out about them. In the meantime I talked to the girlfriend about them, and got her interested too. So, before I could investigate out a good one amongst the 1000's of them out there she finds a place locally in her town and buys a starter kit from Tececig and gets going on it. She buys me one of their small Revolution kits, sends it over and I commit myself to it right away. Happily enough we have both completely quit (after 35 years of smoking) analogs now and couldn't be happier. I even picked one up for my daughter, and she has successfully quit the real ones too. All three of us cant imagine ever picking up a real cigarette again.

Anyhoo, while we have been pretty much satisfied with the "Revolution" model, we were both going through the carts like there was no tomorrow. And I wasnt totally happier with how long they, and the battery was lasting. I sent an honest review in to the company and just happen to mention how I would love to try out their bigger Phoenix model. And to my surprise, they shipped a Phoenix kit to me. Great company, and have 0 complaints about them. But, I'm not sure what size the atomizers are that they send with the Phoenix kits. I wont have an issue buying replacements from them, but like to leave my options open for lower prices somewhere else. I attached 2 pictures to show them, if anyone can tell me what size the atomizers is and any suggestions that might help out a couple of rookie vapereres (is that a word?) They also sent a large cartomizer (center of 2nd picture) too, and am finding it works really nice.

Thanks everyone. Glad to be a part of the vaping community now.

How long do the batteries hold a charge?

They don't list mah on the website.

The Revolution I could kill the battery in as little as 3 hours of fairly steady use, as well as a cart. The Phoenix, will last well over a day with more than average use. Very happy with it. I cant imagine even having a big ol' Reos mod or something heheheeh.

I tried looking up these ecigs and didn't immediately find anything. If you post a link to the site we may be able to help you identify what connection is on the battery.

Most manufacturers who are worth their salt will make the batteries compatible with standard cartomizer and atomizer connections. I think the most common is a 510 but there are roughly 10 that are common. If your ecigs have a standard connection, you can buy cartomizers and refill with any juice that you choose.

Re: Battery life - if you continue to be dissatisfied w/ battery life there are a host of options out there for higher mah batteries that will last longer and even removable, rechargable batteries. You can look into Riva 510 for a large ecig battery, kr 808s and then into mods like Reo (bottom feeding), tube mods (buzz, don) and variable voltage or variable wattage.

Last thing I'll add is that the best ecig/mod is the one that keeps you off of the analogs. There is plenty to play with if you like to tinker and collect. Look at the "Pictures of your Set Up" thread or the classies to get a feel for some of the different things you can use as options to enhance your vaping. Also check out juice vendors and reviews to see what types you may like to try.

Good Luck, Welcome and Happy Vaping!
