Well, you certainly have excellent taste in VapeGear. I hope your experience and knowledge match your pretty advanced equipment. The Ithaka uses resistance and non-resistance wire coils, and can be tricky, but not really all that hard, if you have the knack for it, the patience and the skill, as an example. I know many Vets that would be delighted with this equipment. What shall you use for backups? Good luck, welcome, congrats on the gear, best to you!

lol yea i opted to skip the upgrade after upgrade and go straight to durability/quality after i went thru some of cortos , kanger products ,vivi novas. Part of my strategy is to invest too much to quit :p

i find the Hercules/ Ithaka very easy to set up and a dream to vape surprisingly more satisfying than the analogs i have loved and loathed for 20+ years.

Thanks for the warm ( and friggin fast!) welcomes all.Loving vaping so far!
has all my favorite things:
(1) nicotine to keep the stress level to a dull roar
(2) something for me to continuously tinker with
(3) new shiny things to regularly arrive in the mail
(3) a happy wife who loves the fact that the house now smells like strawberrys
(4) did i mention shiny stuff arriving in the mail ?

I love tinkering with my gear too! Some people think vaping is a hassle compared to smoking (ummm, I think all the health problems from analogs are the real hassle!), but personally I love maintaining and upgrading my e cig stuff. I love all the options, being able to personalize my gear, and that they're constantly coming out with new things (my checking account doesn't like it so much, lol).
