Another Newb @ ECF

I've been smoking analogs for ~39 years, I went back east on February 29th and my younger Sister had a Smart Smoke E-Cig and had been off analogs ~3 months and she loves her PV. Well I got back home, did a few Google searches to kick the analogs myself and found this site.

Two weeks of research and lurking here before I placed my initial order with Smokeless Image (SI), I'll be receiving both my orders sometime today, no more analogs when the kit arrives. My decision to start with SI was based on the information found here; the positive reviews, lack of negative reviews and the ones I found were quickly resolved. Ease of operation was another factor and a few videos later I made my choice.

Just wanted to say I was happy to find this site and hope not to catch Acquisition Disorder and acquire more Hardware than I might need. I'm off to a poor start with three batteries and a "few" additional accessories purchased in the second order placed hours after my first.

I think many, myself included have tried not to spend to much and failed

Just remember saving money is nice but not as near as important as your health. So if you need to spend on what works best for you and keeps you away from the stinkies do it.

Welcome MFToms59. I use the Volt too and I'm very satisfied with it. Hey, that's not a poor start to get extra batteries. It's a good idea to get extra chargers too and a supply of cartos. The cartos last for quite a while, especially if you clean them for re-use as I do, but they still wear out in time.

I hope you ordered some liquid too. SI's filled cartos and refill liquids are good. The sample packs of prefills is a good idea to try their flavors. I use a few of their liquids and a variety of flavors from a few other suppliers. Finding an e-liquid that you like, in the right nic level is as important as the hardware you use, maybe even more important.

After you have your 5 posts in you can post in other areas of ECF. I hope you join us on the SI sub-forum. You will be able to get good answers there to any questions you have. The members help each other and we have SI representatives there who are the greatest! Plus, you might like to join in the fun threads too.

BTW, you can read in the SI sub-forum right now, just can't post til you have your five posts in. Good luck with making the switch to vaping. If you have any questions you can ask them right here too.

Thank you all, I definitely know about the water since researching the E-Cig and as for extra Cartos, 3 extra 5 packs & 2 bottles of liquid, not to mention the carry case & Blank Cartos. ~$150.00 for the Starter Kit & Extras but I really want to beat the Analog Habit!

I've been heavy into the SI Sub-Forum after checking the positive and negative review sections on SI and placing my orders. Thanks again for the info & Welcome.

Glad you found ECF, you still have plenty of time to impulse purchase on other things like juice, carto's, tanks ect......Seems like there is always something new out there to try..one of my fav's of this hobby. Good luck with your PV when it arrives today..

Once you check out all the deals and steals offered here, I'm sure you'll be placing more orders... In the long run, you will be saving tons of money. If you end up with too much hardware, you can always resell your older stuff as you go along...

Well after receiving my kit, I attempted to charge my batteries, happily all three came fully charged so I promptly tossed the remaining analogs and tried the 24mg Cowboy. WOW... heavy Vapor and hit the back of my throat harder than expected, reminded me of Winston, Flavor-wise but not as hot. So I vaped the Cowboy off and on and felt totally satisfied, I've got the Cappuccino and Mint loaded up on the two Automatics and the Cowboy on the Manual.

Today is my Work Monday and a big test for the E-Cig, no more Analogs for me, so far from the little test of my PV, I think this is easy to use and satisfies my Nicotine Craving. I'll be posting how my day went later this evening, Thank you all for the Welcome and words of encouragement.

Most of us have either been where are you are now or are going through it with you. You have a very positive spin on this and I'm sure you'll be successful. You did your homework and that gets you off to a good start.

I'm a baseball fan. I like all the teams, well... because they play baseball. I go to a few Mets games every year. Hopefully they are on the re-build and will become competitive again.
