Hello all. Almost two weeks with my 510, and so far Ive been pretty happy with it. Of course with all of the suggestions and good references to CigNot, I placed my order. Ive been on average 1 pack a day Marlb. Red smoker for almost 26 years. Ive tried to quit a few times, and made it 4 months the last try. Within a few days on the 510, I cut my analogs usage in half. Almost being two weeks now, Im down to about 6-8 a day, and every time I light one up, it tastes more like crap. I really cant wait to shake them completely. I see a lot of posts of people going nuts and getting this juice and that option and it looks like many of you are having fun with all of the new toys :) Ive been able to pick up an extra battery and atty, and 2 samples of juice so far. Being out of a regular job, and only working for myself with the phono stuff, it's been a struggle trying to pick up new stuff to try. Although Im very happy that the analogs are on the way out (hopefully) Im trying to put a little money aside to try new items. DIY juice looks like it would be interesting, and Ive watched MistressNomad's videos to make notes on what I need. Should I be concerned that Im still hanging on to the analogs? It's to the point that I dont like the smell, and they really dont do anything for me anymore. In fact, today I lit one and put it out three times before It was gone. The part I have a hard time with is doing work outside or in the garage. Always have a cig hanging out of my mouth and have been trying to break that habit along with them being the first thing I put in my mouth when I wake up  I really like being able to take a few drags and put it down and come back to it a bit later. So far, it's been a great experience and for cutting down as much as I did with analogs. I remember how hard it was to quit them and the daily, or should I say hourly struggles and cravings.

I havent found anything local to me as far as shops that sell juice, but I have a few places that I have bookmarked and things I want to try. When funds become available, I would like to pick up another atty or two for spares and maybe try cartomizers as I have stuck with the basic atty so far, also some other juices to try.

Thanks all, I have read quite a bit of the forum, and enjoy all of the info here. Seems like a great place to hang out and vape....

I got my 510 about a week ago and I've been lucky and haven't had an analog since.
I've quit before, cold turkey (very tough), gum (nasty quezy stomach, couldn't not chew it too much), patches (very weird vivid dreams), but so far e-cigs have been working out pretty good for me.
Yeah, I know what you mean about it being hard doing stuff outside with a smoke hanging out of my mouth.
I don't know what a pack of smokes goes for there in WI, but here in MA they're $8, you gotta be saving some dollars there.
Anywho, keep it up and good luck!

Thanks Bob. I think smokes around here are about $6 for Marlboro. I have been ordering online for about a year, and they end up around $30 a carton for Marlboro Reds. I cant imagine why some people would get them at Wallyworld, I think they are around $9 a pack there, nuts! At least with the e-cigs, we dont have to worry about the Fire Safe chemicals they are putting in the analogs, that stuff made me sick. I got a bottle of Mlb flavor when I got my starter kit, and it isnt to bad, but would like to try other flavors. I did pick up a Whiskey flavor and the ECOPure English Toffee sample bottles, but those are a once in a while treat and not something I vape regularly. Thanks for the encouragement!

Welcome! I'm quite sure I will slow down after I get used to this over analogs. I too love setting mine down doing whatever and then right back to it. No waste. Right now it's kinda like a pacifier for me, a security blanket of sorts but I figure once I realize that I have really quit I can develop my own routine.

Thats a great way to put it, a pacifier or a security blanket. Im a little embarrassed to admit it, but it's true. When I failed my last quit, it was frustrating to have to admit I was smoking again to friends and family, besides letting yourself down. It's getting better, and I hope in another two weeks the situation will be much better as much as the first two weeks have been. Thanks!
