and some juice

156 Fire Cured
(nicotine) strength: 12mg

172 RY4

to get started.

I'l be ordering some heads early next week and probably some more juice.

Welcome, shadco, and CONGRATS on your decision to make the switch. DH and I did about 3 months ago and we are still amazed at the ease by which we stopped!

You will LOVE those Twists! I started with the standard eGo and upgraded to the Twist within a month and never looked back.

Looks like you have made great choices, very user friendly equipment and effective as well. You obviously did your homework.

You might consider getting a bottle of 24 mg juice as well. 42 yrs is a long habit to break and if the 18 mg is not doing the trick you could transition right over to the 24 without any interruption. It may not be necessary, but could be of help.

Let us know when your stuff arrives and let us know how you are doing and what questions you may have at that time.

HAPPY VAPING!!

To answer a few questions

I got my stuff from Vapor Alley

One of those flavors is blackberry.

I may go with 24 mg I need to order a few more things like replacement heads.

I'm currently smoking fairly light ciggys and I don't pull hard on them and only smoke about half the ...... If I smoke a Big Red I almost pass out form the rush which is why I choose 18 and 12 for my first order.

I also just started with the standard eGo-c. I understand with the twist you are able to choose your voltage. What does this do and why is it an advantage?

Kudos go out to Vapor Alley.

Ordered yesterday received today.

Last analog was noon today then the mail came.

A quick call to Rick to verify startup settings and I'm really pleased with the Blackberry 18MG with the v set at 3.6 with a 1.8ohm clearo.

I popped the 2.4 on the other battery and tried the RY4 and that is great also.

I was worried since I started with 1.8mg vs 2.4 mg juice bit so far it beats the analogs.

This may just work out.

Just figured I'd clear up variable voltage a bit for the newbies! First off, generally when working with voltage, the higher the setting the more flavor and vapor because your coil will be running hotter. When using a carto/atty/clearo/etc., if you take the resistance and add 2 you will have a good starting point (ie. 1.7 ohm cartomizer = 1.7+2=3.7v). You have to remember that different flavors from the same manufacturer can perform better at differing voltages. I have no idea why, but some juices I have that work excellently at 4.2v while others that I ordered at the same time won't go a touch over 3.8v. Also when using a device like the eGo-C Twist, if you set the voltage way too high for the given carto/atty you risk popping the coil right away. Never test or dry burn a fresh carto without fully filling it first or you risk burning the fabric material around the coil that seperates the plastic filler from the hot coil. If you do and the fabric gets a hole burned through it you might as well toss it out right away. As long as the coil is good and wet you can run a carto/atty at pretty high voltages, but higher voltages run your batts dead faster so carry multiple batts when going out.

You may find that due to the positioning of T2 Kangers that the drip tip heats up and burns your lips. If this bothers you then try the E1-V from DiscountVapers.com. It is superior to the T2 Kanger, and the Vivi Nova Mini in many ways.

If you care to see these three clearomizer mini tanks in a showdown, one against the other, the video can be found in my blog near the bottom of the first page. The link to my blog can be found in my signature (click the blue words!) :)
