Got my feet wet in January 2013 after my best friend turned me on to the idea, after much talk, when she switched from smokes to e-cigs in August, 2012. Now she's gone mad scientist and making her own mixtures......ok, don't think I want to go that far! So...smoke free for almost a month (previously smoked "Drum"-roll your own) and ready to wade in to my knees.
Started w/ Victory e-cig (ok, so I didn't want to go full bore so "free" was ok), the refills didn't suit my needs (300 puffs my a**), placed an order into Panda for the Joymizer and liquids yesterday.........and could kick myself for not doing MORE research!
To ease my mind, had my BF check the site and products, and she gave me a thumbs up for the products I ordered (of course, Mad Scientist and all, she threw out a lot of terms and referred to "tanks"....I am SO lost). Am hoping to pick up the terminology, stay "middle of the road" in my quest (mixing my own stuff just doesn't appeal to me), and would like to see what others are finding out there, recommendations, etc.
Will probably make a few mistakes along the way, haven't been a member of this type of forum for ages, and I need to get a grip on abbrv. and terms.

Welcome NiNi !!!
Glad you joined us here, you can learn ALOT just cruising around these threads.
This is a really nice forum, nicer class of people here-not all the trash talk you get on so many other forums,
Just a group of people wanted to help you succeed in vaping.

Laughed when you said your friend went 'Mad Scientist'....I did too ! Started DIY couple of weeks into vapping because I can make the Flavors I want for pennies per ml., and DIY is just part of my nature anyways.

Again, glad your here....Today is my one month analog free day! I am SO happy I found Vapping.

PS...my town is so small, we don't have a post office...or a store.

Thanks, Los Marauder! I am already navigating around the forum topics and have learned quite a bit! My boyfriend is contemplating the

switch from smoke to vap, and with such a fantastic knowledge base here, I'm sure I'll be able to point him in a general direction when

he's ready for that step. If I could find an Ice Cream flavor, he could kill two birds with one stone, his pension for cigarettes and late night

ice cream, LOL! *Note to self: begin quest to find ice cream flavored E-liquids* :p

Nice spacing for easier reading. :p

However, it's ok to space between paragraphs, as long as they aren't too long. No need to space every two lines.

Don't mind me, I'm messing with you. After all, my name IS Baditude. ;)

Congrats!
I'm new both to vaping (started just this past Christmas) and ECF.
Not new to forums though as I used to be admin on several.

In the short time I've been a member here (lurker for a few weeks longer), I have noticed this board can be a bit high-strung (maybe folks are having nic fits).

Anyway, there seems to be a lot of really nice & friendly members on the whole.
Don't let the trolls sway you. Admins & Mods seem to do a good job keeping it at bay.

So are you completely off analogs (jargon for regular cigarettes)?
I had my last one Christmas Eve.
I tried one the other day, took 1 puff and gave it back to my friend.
It tasted so nasty! And I was a smoker for over 20 years!!!

Sorry, Baditude, used the "quick reply" and it wasn't cooperating with me!:glare:

SiverBackGorilla, January 10th was the end of "up in smoke".......also tried a drag on an anolog about a week into vaping......YUCKO!

32 years of smoking, mainly unfiltered Camels (because just about nobody will bum a hump LOL!), then Drum when prices started

going up. And with the type of jobs I did, it made it necessary to "field shred" the butts, filters were just a nuisance.

I LOVE not waking up in the morning feeling like I'm going to cough up a lung!!!!!

The pharmacy in the major retail store provides literature with their prescriptions that borders on criminal neglect regarding spacing.

Well, using the tubes was a PITA for me...just got the roller and papers, and found I cut down considerably because I never pre-rolled a bunch.
Helped an awful lot because I was down to about 7 cigs/day when I quit.
Haha! Same here! At one point in my life I was up to 2 packs but before making the switch to vaping, I was down to about 4-7 cigs/day. Now that I'm hooked on vaping, there seems to be an almost constant cloud around me but at least I don't have to go outside to enjoy and loving the fact my clothes & car don't reek!
