A very good morning to you all !

Another newbie to batter ;) I've finally taken the plunge after smoking "analogs" (Is that the right phrase ?) for the last 7 years.
A few days ago I started with "E-Lites" from the petrol station, and have been on "10 motives" rechargeable since as I preferred the flavour.. And oh my can i tell the difference in my taste, smell (some good, some bad!) and hopefully not hacking up gunk every morning !

I spoke to a a few work colleagues who has been using an itaste VV by innokin, and rave about it. I'm on the brink of taking the plunge as the opportunities with that type of system seem endless..
Now being the stingy person i am, the initial cost is obviously much higher, but the long term cost seems even lower than the rechargeable 10 motives i'm using at the moment.. Going by how cheap the liquid is, and the maintenance I don't mind doing.. would i be correct in assuming that the cost will work out much lower per annum/month ?

Welcome to the forum first thing.

And the itazte vv is a great device IMHO. I had one and used the crap out of it. I have dropped it off a fire truck countless times and it has even ventured into a fire with with me (forgot it was in my pocket). And it didn't miss a beat.

How you determine the cost efficiency of going to the itazte vv is (and this is the way I did it) how much are you spending a month on the 10 motives? Ok now the itazte has a starter kit that includes some iclear 16's, 3 or more I think. How much is that? Keep in mind the iclear 16 should last (depending how much you vape) a month or more before you get that un appealing burnt taste ( that is how long mine lasted and a chain vape). And then your juice cost. Most of the time a 15ml bottle will last a good bit again that depends on your vaping style. All this is you initial cost. So itazte kit $50-$60 (I'm just saying this price because I have not looked into this. It may be cheaper) and the price of juice. Then after that initial cost you will just pay for juice.

With all that being said you could also look into other tanks slouch as carto tanks (which you would need to buy cartos as the carto goes out. About 2-3 weeks depending on your vaping), protank, protank2, mini protank 2, David, aspire, the list goes on.

I hope this has helped out.

I don't know what a 10 motives is (call me a dumb yank :2cool:) but if it is like a blu e-cig then yes, you will save money with a nice battery/tank system that you can refill with a juice of your choice. I started with this system:

http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

Ok, now it is $70 but you need 2 of everything when you start. When your battery is charging what are you going to use?? From this kit I chose 2 vision spinners at 1300mAH (all day battery life and more) and 2 EVOD tanks. You can choose a Mini protank for an extra 12 bucks for one of the tank choices so that you can use "tank cracker" juices. These are certain flavors (cinnamons, citrus, and others) that react with polycarbonate plastic and crack or melt them.

If you want to get the innokin I understand, it's a great battery, but they are a bit more expensive. There are some starter kits on ebay with an itaste vv 3 and a bunch of iclear tanks for $50. You're only getting one battery though.

E-lites and/or 10 motives will cost you dearly in the long run.

I smoked 10-15 a day and decided to "quit" with this sort of product. It didn't work. Also, E-Lites are astonishingly expensive. I thought they were supposed to do "40" cigarettes, but even if they did do 300-400 puffs (which they don't), it would never equal two packs of cigarettes in nicotine. Not even close. :(

However, an eGo type e-cig did work.

Since then, things have moved on and now, if I was starting I would look here and buy almost anything (except for the ones that look like a cigarette....always a give away that it'll be just terrible and very ineffective).

101vapes.com I think still has the iTaste MVP 2 kit on sale for $40. Comes with one iClear 30 clearo. It does the same thing as the ITaste VV v3, but the battery lasts for days and it has the capability to charge your phone. I also have the iTaste VV v3, and it looks great with Mini Protank II on it. I prefer the MVP 2 because I have a really long commute, but love the look of the VVv3. You can buy an express kit for the VVv3 which does not come with clearos, and try to find clearos for cheaper, although I do recommend buying the full kit if you have no tanks/clearos to start with. It'll get you started that way. The full kits I've seen come with 5 iClear 16's. Great flavor on those, and a warm vape. If you think you'll like a cooler vape, just get the VVv3 express kit and a couple of Mini Protank II's. Those will last you a good while and no need to worry about what juice you're putting in them. You should be satisfied with both the VV v3 or the MVP 2 for quite a while. For the price of either, they do a lot. I love them both.

I meant to post an update but compeltely forgot.. I purchased an itaste VV 3.. OH GOOD GRIEF this is amazing.. after some use.. i did a bit of maths.. Compared to spending over (roughly) £700.00 a year of roll ups, i now could spend as little as £90.00 a year if i just stuck with one e-liquid at the rate i've been using it..

Thank-you all for advice earlier, possibly the best purchase i've ever made !

Good news! Where d'you get it?

£90 is a little optimistic, but £900 should be easy.

Purchased it from the "vapour-room".

And yes probably a bit optimistic, but i can dream.. right ?

Yes, you can.

If you need any pointers, let us know.

(I've got a bad feeling I got in some hot water running down vapour-room on another forum....)

How are you fixed for e-liquid? There's a great bit of competition going on (great for us, anyway) and I got 50ml of liquid (5 bottles) arrive only yesterday for comfortably under £3 per 10ml.
