Another newbie question

I have the Kanger EVOD, single coil. I know that when my battery blinks 15 times, it needs to be charged. What does it mean when I'm taking a hit and it blinks 3 times. Sorry to keep asking the dumb questions, but you are all so helpful. Many thanks

I'm not familiar with the EVOD but it sounds like maybe you're reaching the cutoff point. A lot of mods have this time limit cutoff.

I'm not sure what you mean by cutoff point As I said I'm really new at this and doing it by myself with no one to lean on. By the way I love the little message you have at the bottom. Thanks

evod is the tank guessing what battery are you using ?

It is a time limit for each draw/drag. The amount of time is set by the manufacturer, could be 8 seconds up tp 15 seconds or more. It is a safety feature to protect the circuitry and to prevent lengthy accidental button activation.

It does blink if you hold the button down too long. It will also blink if there is a short (but I don't know how many times it blinks). If you are not taking exceptional long draws, then you have a short. Try another tank or swap out the coil.

It is a 650 omAh battery put new coil in last week

Does it work then stop working when the 3 blinks happen? If it does, my vote is on the cutoff too.

If you like long draws, release then rehold the button down, during your draw, so the cutoff won't cut you off too early. I did that quite a bit with my Evods to fool the battery into giving several of their limited length draws into one long draw.
