Hi all!

I just found this forum a few days ago and I LOVE it. Prior to accidentally running across a Blu ad last week I didn't really know electronic cigarettes existed. I do think I heard something about them about two or three years ago, but they seemed kind of far out and expensive (because I didnt really do the math), and I didn't think much more about it. But last week I was reminded of them and amazed at how popular they've become.

I've always been just a casual smoker, in fact I switched to herbal cigarettes a few years ago and when I smoke that's all I smoke. But I absolutely LOVE the whole concept of vaping! I decided to start with a disposable and I ordered it last week, hoping it will show up Tuesday (since tomorrow is a holiday.)

Now, what I ordered is from disposablecig.com From what I've learned, it's not really a disposable as much as it's a cartomizer. I didn't order a charger (yet), money is tight so I just ordered the one e-cig and that's it. Does anybody have any idea of what model this might be? After doing research I'd like to know that so I know what might be compatible with it.

No it's doesn't seem disposable at all, except that the company will make a lot more money if they say it is! If this is an M series that would be wild because that's the "permanent" type I've been thinking of getting. The atomizer definitely unscrews from the battery, and it's the exposed type that the M series and 510 has.

This looks kind of similar to a disposable cig i tried from smoke51 once. I think its called the crave. Have to say my experience with it was pretty poor. In my opinion it was barely functional. Maybe yours is different, I really don't know. This is also clearly not a cartomizer model. 2 piece cartomizer models are typically referred to as semi-disposables.

If you are interested in e-smoking, and cost is your major concern, disposable or semi-disposable models are typically more expensive options. My best advice is to search this forum which has tons of information and reviews on different models out there. In my opinion, a good start would be a 3 piece model. 3 piece models reuse the atomizer, which can easily last a month or more and cost less than 10 dollars. The cartridges themselves are only a dollar or 2 for a pack of 5 and can be refilled practically infinitely. Cartomizers on the other hand are 2-3 bucks a piece, don't last nearly as long as advertised, and are not very refillable.

My favorite model is the joye510. It's very compact, inexpensive and produces great vapor. Starter kits run somewhere in the range of 40-75 dollars and with an extra atomizer or 2 and a bottle of juice, should have all your needs covered for a very long time.

While I don't mean to advertise, I recommend US resellers like nhaler.com. I order most of my stuff through them. Customer service is excellent, shipping is lightning fast(usually arrives in only 2 days) and they have great products. You can also search through the sponsored supplier page on this site to search from more suppliers. Either way, the information in these forums should answer most of your question.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Where do you get a 5-pack of carts for $2? The cheapest i've ever seen them is $3.50 direct from china, in the U.S. at least $4

Healthcabin is a chinese seller that has em 2 bucks and change for 10 empties or 2 bucks and change for prefilled. I prefer empty carts anyway. Also this site sells em in bulk, 200 for 50 bucks, The Electronic Cigarette and liquid Webshop China RoyalSmokers Cartridges. Not sure about the fluid but I never use prefilled juice anyway. Truth is, I use ptb filler so I really only need a handful of carts to be happy.

Whatever the cost, refilling 510 carts is way more cost effective than cartomizers.

The battery on this xecig is nearly dead already. There's no way I've smoked two packs worth like they say it will last without charging. Well, rather than ordering a charger for this just yet, I ordered an M402 last night from Tasty Vapor. If the charger for that happens to fit this thing, great, if not, I probably will for it too. But I'm looking forward to the M402.
