Another newbie

Hello everyone-my name is Kathy and Iam barely into two weeks of vaping and really enjoying it! Not quite off of analogs yet, but that is my goal. After 40+ years of smoking I think its about time to get this monkey off my back.
I've spent hundreds of dollars over the years to rid myself of this, even quit a full year but came back to it after some major stress in my life. That was 18 years ago. Three weeks ago a co-worker showed me her new e-cig. I had heard some things about it, mainly the FDA report. I decided to do my own research and came across this great forum! Wow, you guys rock!!! I come home from work and sit half the night reading through the posts. So much info. Imagine my surprise when I found out about SB400 here in Calif. I could not believe it! Here I finally found hope for my problem and they want to take it away. So, in anticipation of the outcome, I've stocked up just in case.

Well, I finally decided on the 510 after reading for many hours on this great forum. Received it two weeks ago, and bought another for my son along with quite a few supplies. (Just read about the news on SB400 not passing-YEA!!) Last week I made the decision to purchase the protege. When I go into something, its full steam ahead! Just bought some more juice from DIY tonight as Iam still trying to find the right blend and mg. Going to try some 36 mg. as I've been using 19-24mg and feel I need a little higher to cut the cravings totally.

good luck with 36mg - that's strong stuff

i was a pack and a half a day smoker - 8mg covers my cravings just fine - though i chain vape all day lol

im too chicken to go past 12mg

Good deal for you and yeah I find the 36mg to be just about perfect for cutting to either a nice strong dose of 24 or 28 and the low of 12 or so with the flavors I find myself mindlessly vaping by the quart in no time at all.

Count me among the amazed as well as a 32 year smoker, and graduate of every smoking cessation program known to man with absolutely no success UNTIL NOW and my new best friend has made it possible, long live the E-cig. Congrats to the folks in CA now that they have that 800 lb gorilla off their backs for now.

If I got some 48mg. unflavored, could I add a drop or two to my carts to boost it up a bit? I have several flavors in the 12 to 18mg range that I like but don't want to buy the same ones in a higher mg. range.

Yes you can add 48mg. I do it all the time to boost a lower mg.. Im a 24-36mg and smoked for over 40 years.

You can always go down in strenth but when you need the extra kick, You just need it! lol.
