Why I wish I'd never taken up vaping

stumbled on this article, seems to be mainly non smokers who decided to start vaping.

I think it’s a bit of twisting to distract from the proper purpose of vaping.

Or another way to look at it, would these people be saying the same in a news article if they had started smoking instead of vaping?!?

Having not read the article, I can guess that the gist of the story is to bad mouth vaping. Who cares if non-smokers took up vaping and are now reluctant that they started? The primary purpose of vaping from the get go was harm reduction for those who were already addicted to nicotine.
