Another article claiming e-cigs don't deliver

Since we are all inexhaustable, I thought we could handle another... since it was yesterday.

What gets me is that these claims deny the relevance of nicotine addiction. To be honest, I'd jump up and down if I wasn't actually getting any nicotine and this was all a big placebo. I've thought the whole time that I just enjoy the concentrated act of inhaling and exhaling, but hey, honestly - I can tell from the variation in strengths I choose - I'm getting some nicotine.

Old topic in electronic time, but still.

Ya know what, even if after all is said and done, if they prove this to be true, I just want to say THANK YOU for actually making an effective placebo.

If I can go from a pack and a half a day of analogs to absolutely NONE with minimal withdrawal and no criminal charges for homicide....someone is doing something right.

Big Pharma, you can suck it.

I love how the article talks about chantix. One of the many side effects, suicidle thoughts, "All patients being treated with CHANTIX should be observed for neuropsychiatric symptoms including changes in behavior, hostility, agitation, depressed mood, and suicide-related events, including ideation, behavior, and attempted suicide. These symptoms, as well as worsening of pre-existing psychiatric illness and completed suicide have been reported in some patients attempting to quit smoking while taking CHANTIX"

Chantix keeps ya off cigs for like a year, then sure enought they are back on it!

All these articales, in my opinion, are a elaborate ploy to keep people from buying ecigs, and as a result, using the slogan, "quit or die".

Money. Money. Money.

I'm with bornagainst, if it is a placebo effect (which has been proven to treat illnesses and such) props, because all I know is I am off cigarettes, and that's what matters.

Chantix is one VERY scary drug.

A few months before I discovered vaping, I asked my doctor for Chantix. I started taking it and on the 5th day of ingesting that poison, felt an almost uncontrollable urge to slap the dickens out of my then 16 month old granddaughter. Thank goodness I realized what was happening, and picked her up to hug her instead.

I immediately threw the rest of the Chantix in the trash.

I can easily see someone not recognizing warning signs with that drug and going off full-tilt into a homicidal rage. It was a very scary feeling for me, to be so perturbed by my sweet precious one's playfulness, and all because of a "medication." Babies are so innocent and as the full-time caregiver to this little angel, just the thought of swatting her bottom upsets me.

I find it so hard to comprehend how the FDA has allowed Chantix to stay on the market. It needs to be outlawed and all reserves of it destroyed.

Give me a PV anyday!

Au contraire, my friend. I can see the headlines already: FDA bans e-cigs because they don't deliver enough nicotine. Arrests expected next week. All the smokers who quit using this fraudulent method are strongly advised to resume smoking or purchase FDA-approved nicotine replacement products.
