Hey everyone! Well, I have spent the last week or so trying to educate myself on the wonderful world of vaping. BTW...this is a great site! Anyhoo, I picked up a Joye 510 for my first e cig. So far it's doing well, but I want something better. I was thinking of picking up a Riva 901 or a Ego T. I tried looking for reviews for the Riva(since thats the one I'm leaning towards) but I couldnt find much. Anyone have any thoughts? This is all so overwhelming....

Hi and welcome.
A riva 510 or Riva 901 are both great batteries. The numbers indicate the different type of threading on the battery..This is important in figuring out what type of attys to use and/or cartomizers. Yeah, there is loads to learn about vaping but we are here to help, if we can. Here is a link to liberty-flights.com with a 20% discount. I marked the Riva 901 since that is what you inquired about. But look around the site and read the descriptions. They are a great company and lots of members use them

ps...if you wanted to use the stuff you have from your Joye510--like the attys, etc. Then look at the Riva510. They are compatible and you can use what you already purchased with it.

I haven't used the Riva 901, but I have experimented with 901 attys and carts and find them a bit harsher than the 510. I also have an ego t and am very pleased with it (using the LR attys for it). Wife already had an ego, so got her a (LR) tank atty and tank and she's in love with it! If you're like me and don't need all the fiddling that seems to go with most PV's, the Go-Go has also turned out to be rock solid for me and is my primary PV (Proprietary threads, tho, so you may want to hold off on that until they come out with adapters for it)
