Alright, I have an 808D-1 kit, a 808D 5V PT and about 21 juices now that should last me a couple months. I promised myself I would not spend more the first month than what I spent on smoking analogs. I have about $50 left to spend.

I've been on the order confirm page a couple times and I just can't hit submit so I figure I need some guidance. With my 808D1 kit, I have good vapor (enough for me) and the taste is so-so. I have invested a bit in 808 reg carto's and some CE2 cartos with 808D threading. I'm sticking to 2 piece kits with cartos so the atty/cart combo won't work for me. With a Riva kit I'm going to be using XL LR 2.0-2.4 cartos pretty much exclusively.

I want to have a "backup" kit. I've looked at the Riva 901 and the Riva 510 SE. I've also looked at the PigCig but the price is a bit to hefty for my budget so I'm stuck between the Riva kits. Heard that the 901 has a warmer vape as opposed to the 510 which leans me towards it because I'd rather have a warm/hot vape. The 510 comes in a SE edition which I heard has better volts so much better hits. I love my 5V PT and want to mimic it on the go as much as possible. Would either one be close to a 5V with LR Cartos, heard contradictory reviews about this.

Would you guys suggest a 901 Riva with some LR carto's or go with a 510 Riva SE for the better volts? Or is there something that is comparable in price/vape quality that I skipped over? I'm not looking for mods because the upfront cost is just a bit too much the first month.

Any help is appreciated, tyvm :)

I am an 808 carto user and much prefer them to 510. I started with Kr808 kit and moved on to Elegant Easy (808 Riva). If you like the 808 cartos, get the 901 Riva as most 808 cartos work with the 901 connection. If you find that you need more airflow with the 901 using 808 cartos, you could get an adapter for 99 cents at Goodprophets :)
