thanks jack..i am sure newer models will come out be4 Xmas but need to be tested & reviews be4 can be consider as a worthy product..i am only trying this eGo F1 since i read its functional and also reliable like my eGo LCD battery i have..i am into the batteries size & performance rather than the makeup of the complete kit..but since it very reasonably cheap to buy in kit format(as the other pieces can be my backups).

yesterday i wrote to enquire about the L-rider..i got a reply and so shock to find the kit is so cheap but only problem have to order 10 minimum @ $32 per set + postage(wow that would be great if i can find that many of friends to share out..personally i dont like the look of this VV L-rider but i want 1 to see if i miss anything on high voltage vaping etc etc..currently i am very contended using my eGo & 510 format on lr atomizers setup..i also will try the newish carto..510 Micromizer with Dual LED..i ordered 10 pcs(i have no luck with cartos hopefully this is the ones i will like)..regards mafig ps i am too old now to fiddle with "puzzle" and only want any gear with easy application nothing complicating( i dont even own a ipod or iphone..dont know how to make full use if i got 1 but got a 5 yrs old samsung hp only for calls and SMSes !..haha)

i am stuck with my desktop PC,wish i know how to use ipad..i reformat my PC every year as my PC slows/lags with junks & viruses(even i installed a paid anti-virus,AVIRA)..very hard for "old dog" to learn new tricks..that's me..haha

That mod from L-rider is basically what everybody is calling the "Lava Tube". Being sold by 2 sellers locally. Looking at the cost of US$32, that would basically round out to about RM130 at most, inclusive shipping. The local sellers must really be making a killing selling them at the current price of RM350.00 (yikes !!). It's basically a china made copy of the provari. Function wise, it's almost the same. Personally, I'm waiting for a little bit to see if the quality and reliability is there before I invest in one as a backup to my provari. As it's made in china, at those low prices, there is a worry that too much was sacrificed from the quality and lifespan for the sake of these low prices.

Personally, looking at the cost in US$, I won't mind getting one even if I'm not sure of the quality or reliability....after all, that's pretty close to the cost of a set of ego style in Malaysia these days.

Nice to see that you're giving variable voltage a look. I've actually said several times to quite a few people that VV is best, and I do recommend a few people who are new to vaping to look seriously at VV mods as their first mod purchase. Granted, the new vaper will need to get a bit more knowledge regarding voltage, amps, resistance and watts, but once all that is understood, the variable voltage mod is one of the most flexible e-cigs you can get. The only other step up you can go is variable wattage, which takes some of the guesswork and learning curve away and simplifies it even further.

Granted, most of the decent mods are much larger than your typical 510 or ego style battery, but the performance I get from a mod makes having to lug around the larger e-cig worth the trouble.
