so I asked about the vanilla flavorings yesterday and I got some great responses ( thank you all! )

Any way someone could give me recipes for a French Vanilla ice cream and maybe with some caramel as well to throw in the mix?

This is my first DIY effort and I don't know What I need to do when it comes to the percentages ( how many ml ) of this flavoring and this flavoring as well as the PG - VG ratios.

Im looking to make some 60-40 or 50-50 ratios as well as some high VG juices. I want to start of trying to make some French Vanilla blends which is what I've been searching for for a long time now.

Any help with the % and ml needed as well as what flavorings needed would be Greatly appreciated!!!!

Same here, just starting out and have difficulty using percentages in a 20% flavor recipe... Wait I think I just figured it out Reign. If you have ejuice me up Calculator, go to tools, click on flavor percentage, choose your flavor percentage and add you individual flavors and percentages accordingly. Hope that helps. If I'm wrong hopefully someone else can chime in as to do this right.

good luck

For flavor percentages, I'd recommend checking out the spreadsheet below. It'll save you some time when it comes to bouncing from thread to thread as all the flavor percentage threads are scattered and you'll have to sift through the multitude of replies to get to the most up-to-date version of the list for each vendor. This one doesn't seem to be updated as much anymore (from what I can see), but it can serve as a general guide.

Just keep in mind, the percentages mentioned are for single flavor blends. If you're going to be mixing, for instance, French Vanilla and Caramel, then you'd look at what others recommend and adjust accordingly.

As an example, we'll use TFA (The Flavor Apprentice / Perfumers Apprentice). They have a French Vanilla and a Caramel Original. French Vanilla is recommended at 7-10% while Caramel Original is recommended at 18% (which is a tad high IMO) if mixing each as a single flavor. So if you wanted to blend them together, you may want to start at 3-5% French Vanilla and 5-8% Caramel Original. That's in the range of a 50/50 split (i.e. 50% of one flavor, 50% of another flavor).

The eJuiceMeUp Calculator is going to be the best option for you to help you get the ratios right and the ML's accurate, so if you don't have it already, download it from the website below.

To give you an idea of where to enter what, look at the screenshot I posted as an attachment. This is based on using a 100% PG Nicotine solution at 100mg/ml. If yours is different, you'd simply edit the top of the form and change Nicotine Strength E-Juice to your PG/VG ratio. The Target PG/VG at the bottom is what you'd like for your end result to be (i.e a 50/50 blend, 60/40 blend etc).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

10% TFA Vanilla Swirl or Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
5% TFA Caramel Original

That's just a start. Adjust to taste once you have let it steep for a week or two.
