Another Subtank mini question.....

I'm looking at getting a mini subtank for the 20 watt mvp. I know I can only use the 1.2 coils with my battery. I am trying to plan for the future, lol.

Is it true that nic levels over .6 will be pretty harsh? I have alot of 1.2% and don't want to waste it.

Is it easier to recoil/wick the organic cotton coils than it is the rba? If so, I'll buy 2 or 3 packs for future recoiling.

I can't speak to rebuilding the coils, but you can use up your 12 nic juice with the subtank if you do mouth to lung, but if you are doing deep lung hits, I would drop down to .6 nic level...

correct on all counts, except the nic levels..
I have run .5 to 1.5 on my Subtank and like my juice around 1.0, give a nice little bite with good flavor and vapor production on both mouth to lung and straight to lung.. all personal preference there..

It's too subjective to really say. Some people find 3ml their sweet spot, some like it at 24ml or higher. You'll just have to try it and see.

You don't have to waste any juice unless you can no longer get that flavor. Just buy the same flavor at a lower nic level to get it where you want it. I was using 18 nic when I got my sub and got some 0 nic and cut it to around 9, then went a little further.

Really, I have several Subtank mini's and have used both coil values, never had juice hit my mouth...what wattage are you vaping the 1.2 at?

I would say that it is easier to rbuild the RBA part then the OCC Head. Building the RBA is very simple. Riptrippers on youtube has a video on how to rebuild the occ head. IMO I would just rbuild the RBA then attempt to rebuild the OCC Head.

12mg liquids all day straight lung hits for me, nic level is subjective to each person using the liquids, some have to cut down in nic and some stay at the level they have been at, personally I use nothing but 12mg liquids in anything but my fiancée uses 6-9mg liquids

As for me, I use the sub tank and sub tank mini for mouth to lung AND full lung hits on 12mg of nic. No issues for me whatsoever.

Each to their own, I say.
Buy a couple smaller bottles of juice of differing levels and see how it works for you.

so true. I have a bunch of Nautilus Minis and use those with 12mg juices. No problem. I bought 2 Subtank Minis and bought 6mg juices for those. Deep lung hits no problem but with mouth to lung on 6mg I tend to cough sometimes. I also get more flavor when I do mouth to lung.

I'm using an aerotank (w/ MVP20) now. I'm pretty happy with it over the Evod starter kit I was using. The Evod worked though, I quit smoking except for a few here and ther when I'm out and about (1 pack a day to about 1 pack a month now!) I wanted the Mini so I can rebuild with some ease.

I can't lung hit at all. I'm so used to mouth to lung after smoking for so long, it just doesn't feel right.

I might hold off until I'm read to step my nic level down again. Thanks for all the info guys! You guys rock.

I have the subtank Nano i went from 12 nic. to 6 nic. all my other tanks i mouth to lung hit but with this nano theres no way i can do that i cough like crazy
I have to only lung hit with it.

Subjectivity...

I have been mouth to lung for the most part due to the gear I've used and comfort level coming from analogs...
Since the Subtank Mini I have fully adopted straight lung hits and now vape with a combination of both, in the same pull usually
still loving this Subtank mini on both the OCC and RBA heads.. Working very well with 10mg/ml on my mech mod on a 18650 between 35w and 25w depending on the charge of my batteries..

I think one of the main reasons people are rebuilding the OCC head. Is because it restricts less air on the original Subtank. The RBA head made for a tighter draw. I believe this problem was fixed with the mini.

I vape 18mg out of my subtank mini... not harsh at all... all in what you're used to, I guess
