does anyone else get crazy loud popping sounds when using a new coil on the subtank?

I have a kanger subtank nano and an innokin mvp20 battery. I'm using the 1.2ohm coil at 15watts currently, and the vape is great, but it has just been popping all day long. it also keeps happening regardless of airflow setting.

I previously had the kanger protank 2 and protank 2 mini, and this would also happen with new coils... but it would stop after about an hour or two.

it doesn't really bother me, but i never see other peoples vapes doing that so i figured i would ask just to make sure i'm not doing anything wrong..

really? so does that imply that everything is working just fine? I don't know why it never happens to any of my friend's vapes when I try them.

EDIT: when it pops really loud it also gets this weird sensation in my tongue, sort of like being shocked. it keeps worrying me that its harmful to me. :/

Lower the power if it bothers you; you have to experiment a bit; if liquid droplets are shooting up to your tongue that would be undesireable

Gotta agree, I found the 1.2 coils worked for me at 13.0 to 13.5 watts (Subtank Mini/iStick 30). I too get the occasional tongue sensations. Currently have the 0.5 coils running nicely between 23.5 to 24 watts.
