Just started to vape yesterday -bought a cheapie $20 white ce4 from a flea market along with 2 bottles of mtbakervapor so far so good, have read on here that ce4 are lousy, so what's a step or two up. I really don't want anything that I have to build or rebuild and talks of coils and wicks leave me overwhelmed. So for now at least I just want simple and not too expensive, or do you have to mess with coils with all of them? So confused. Been trying to read the newbie section but head is spinning! Still smoking but I know I have cut down-would be even less if I didn't live with 2 other smokers but it's a start

A great step up for a tank (the piece of hardware that holds the juice) would be a Mini Aerotank. It's glass, so you don't have to worry about "tank cracking" juice (citrus & cinnamon to name a few). And, it has airflow control. With airflow control you can adjust it so that you minimize "dry hits" and the resulting "burnt taste" you sometimes get when your clearomizer cannot feed juice fast enough to keep up with the battery.

The coil is what turns your e-liquid into vapor. So yes, you have to deal with coils if you're going to use any e-cigarette.

Below are some blog posts by ECF member Baditude that I highly recommend for someone new to vaping.

1. A Good Starter's Setup for a Beginning Vapor
2. Advancing Up the Vaping Ladder with Egos and Mods
3. Proper terminology - Is it a carto, a tank, or what? A Guide to Juice Attachments.
4. Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

Personally I did the same step up to aspire bdc clearo s . good, but I've ended up dripping very quickly . I highly recommend building your own coils in an RDA or rba.

Sorry, bad idea for a new user who wants something simple and easy (as the poster said they wanted).

<snop> the vender I use has almost 20 mtbakervapor flavors and sells them 2 for 11 which I guess is a decent price???? They have some spinner batteries, reviews on here seem favorable.

I have no personal experience with Mt. Baker so I can't comment on their juice. 2 10ml or 15ml bottles for $11 is a good price if you love the flavors. Most of us have spent $100's in search for the right juice.

Vision spinner batteries are good. I still have a few that I use (along with many other vv/vw and mech devices).

They also have ego x6 available although I don't know the prices, one better over the other Or should I get them both eventually? Lol Would like to eventually order items online but figure for now buy locally so when I have problems I have someone in real life to turn to

Thanks for all the warm welcome! This seems like a great group!

Welcome to ECF. You might want to check out a Kanger Mini protank. Spinners are good but a Innokin vv V3 is better. Even better yet would be an MVP2 but some folks don't like the box form factor. Also, make sure you have back ups for everything. With decent gear you'll be able to quit the smokes even though there are other smokers in the house. Before you know it, they'll quit too.

Good advice here, I will second the Kanger PT mini. Good vape, and if you choose to get into rebuilding later, they can be rebuilt easily. Pinning down a juice you really like is the challenge. I have heard Mt. Baker is good, but I would suggest finding a reliable B&M to sample and buy juices first until you get a better idea of what you like. Then order online in larger quantities and save some $$$. There is nothing worse than having several 30ml bottles of stuff that sounded good, but tasted yuck!

Good luck, and welcome to ECF!
