So I've been to all the B&M's in Sheffield, and they all suck, with the exception of MyCiggy - at least the guy there is knowledgable and willing to help.

I was merely lookiing for 100%VG juices, and everywhere I went, the staff all looked blank, like what's VG?

They all sell cheap eGo clone batteries and CE4's and that's it.

I dream of a place that's like a vape bar. The place is packed with vapers. You can go in, try juices, chill with a coffee, chat to people, have a good old vape, buy silica, mesh, kanthal, high drain batteries, chargers, try and buy some high-end RBA, have a look at some nice mods, get the staff to give you knowledgable advice in what you need to buy given your vaping requirements. They might recommend getting the Ithaka and then sit down with you and show you how to rebuild it.

Reality check.. dream on!

Any quality vape shops you know of? Or do we still get the thin end of the wedge in the UK?

I think we still get the thin end of the wedge over here its seems to be the same in Nottingham plus they seem clueless and don't wont to sell mod apart from the odd vamo and then they don't now any thing about it or very little wish I had the money because I would love to setup a vaping café think it would be a massive hit with the vaping community and anyone looking to go into vaping all I can say is thank god for goo online suppliers like LTEcigs and Cloud9Vaping and a lot of others out there who are willing to email you back when you ask about certain mods and also give you their opinion on the and don't try to sell you some thing you don't want and then there's fastthec who sell all sorts of clones and original's to ok I no their service is a little slow but you cant beat the price just don't order from them if you want it in a week or so cause its not going to happen

We have the same crap in Barnsley too! (Waves up the road to you in Sheffield) :)

I had the same thing looking for VG, the guy had no idea what PG/VG was, when I tried to explain he clearly had no interest.

Thing is, most people don't seem to care what they are buying, they will just hand the cash over. My friend has bought one of these kits, when she saw my evod she said it looked old (meaning hers was more modern) because mine was "big". I smiled to myself and rolled my eyes at her. No idea what she would say about something like a zmax etc :)

Unless you go looking somewhere like this site you have no idea at the options available or what is on sale online VS these rubbish B&Ms we have cropping up all over.

It's pathetic they'll all be shut in 12 months time wondering what went wrong, such is their lack of understanding that to succeed you need to know your product and your target clientele's needs. They want to target advanced users they should cater well for the starter who will become an advanced customer eventually. To target starters be prepared to cater for advanced needs of varying budget else your client will look elsewhere when they want to upgrade and you still offer nothing but ego pen styles and 15 flavours of Hangsen juice!

Oh yeah, my favourite so far - don't smoke outside your vape store, and stub it out as you realise they're coming in and proceed to explain how it's a really easy way to quit the stinkies and save £ and your health - so easy you can't quit? Yes mate, grand way of advertising you stock crap to people who are brand new to vaping and don't know the difference between a CE5 clearomiser and a Kayfun Lite!

I'm a nail tech and wouldn't dream of sitting there with chewed down nails whilst expecting potential clients to believe that I'm any good!

TripHammer has a juice bar in Bournemouth I believe, that sounds akin to what you're after, however he only sells 50/50 PG/VG on his site. The other vape B&M's I know of that are decent regards knowledge, honesty and not charging you 10 x the amount they got stock in for, but reasonable that they make a little profit after overheads and you don't mind it costing a few quid more than online cos you can ask questions and take it home to play with there and then, only stock rebranded juice.

Best advice would be try E-liquid suppliers who make their own and see if they offer a choice of 100% PG when you're selecting nic content or a custom juice service.

I know Alchemists Cupboard do such option, I'm pretty sure Joose Juice let you tailor PG/VG, though my memory might going doolally!

In the meantime if anyone fancies starting their own business you know there's a big gap in the market!

You can learn far more on here than from any vape store, although you are right there should be more decent quality ones around instead of these shops that seem to be appearing with increasing regularity with staff that know next to nothing and a totally uninspiring range of stock to anyone except people who have never tried ecigs before.

I think I am pretty lucky where i live, although there are only a couple of vape shops in my town (Lancaster) which i dont use there are some very good ones not too far away and i am often in the area so i can just pop in (Liberty Flights in Darwen, Vape Escape in Rochdale, & Vapour-z in Bamber Bridge).

I know a good little one in Edinburgh: The Vapour Lounge.

I moved to Nottingham 3 months ago, and Thee Vapeoreum is good. Knowledgeable guys, they formulate their own juice and have it produced Europe. Import other European/US juices... no Hangsen/Dekang etc.

A vape cafe recently opened in Notts too (Friar Lane), I'm going to check it out this weekend and see how it is.

Planning to swing over to BBC Nottingham on 11th too and see if anyone's around...

Maybe Innovapours or Grey Haze could get in on the act? :)

Are you going to the BBC by any chance on Saturday? 11.00am Vape demo/meet?

yeah for sure! ill be there alittle early theres a starbucks right there aswell so perfect location!
would be great to see grey haze expand operations, they have a great range of products! somewhere like that would really suit the custrard factory or maybe even the brindlyplace end of town.
