Aloha,

Just bought a batch of 25 Boge XL 3 Ohm pre punched cartos from Sure Vapes.

I don't want to jump to any conclusions too quick, but the first one I used after priming and getting great vape only lasted through two tanks of fluid before the draw tightened up and it started tasting burnt...

I thought it may be an issue with having 2 1mm punches not being enough, but I'm using a pretty thin 70/30 pg/vg juice.

I primed the first using the drip method until the filler was saturated at the punch holes... It worked well, but seemed to burn out way too fast

For the second I am using now, I used the IBTanked thingy method to prime it. Looks like it forced about 1 mL of juice into the carto. It's vaping great for now...

Anyone else having issues with Boges lately? I know they've had issues in the past, but that seemed to go away for a while... These are the first I've had issue with in a long while... May have just been a bad one, and the other 24 will be fine... Just thought it was odd.

I have been having the same issues. Thought mine was just a fluke. Each month I have been ordering 5 boxes of the Boges SR-laser slotted, also from surevapes. Out of the 25, on avg I am getting 4 that just wont wick at all and I end up just having to toss and try another. The rest are great at first, but am having to replace every other day. The filler gets so stiff that even trying to refill using my needle wont work. That, and they start tasting burnt on that second day and have to reload a fresh one. I haven't been thrilled with their performance lately either. Just not what else to switch too. Nothing else I have tried works as well. Am hoping Boge gets the crappy one worked thru their inventory quickly and their qc will improve again soon.

Sounds similar to the issues I'm having... The first day or two with a new carto is great, and then BAM, no gradual degradation.... It's just all of a sudden super stiff on the draw and burnt... These things used to last me a week... 30mL of juice at a minimum.... Now I can barely get 10-15mL through one before it's done

I plan to get some more Ikenvapes, but they have been in short supply here lately, very hard to get hold of.

I just hope its not another "Bogegate" heh

10-15ml isnt bad for 1 carto. thats 2 cartos per 30ml bottle. not too shabby in my books.

The second lasted a little longer... 4 days, around 15-20mL of juice... I think the juice may have been the issue, it was a darker sweetened juice so it was likely getting gunked up...

Put in the third tonight using a very clear DIY peach flavor. Still sweet, but none of the dark colors to add residue.

They have tasted and performed great right up to the point where the draw seizes up.

I've been spoiled with them lasting a week or more... If they only last 3-4 days now, things could be worse... It's still a lot cheaper than smoking...

I have juice that will clog up a carto in less than two days. And then my clean, lightly flavored DIY may help one last two weeks.

edit to add: it's good to empty and wash the tank every so many fills. That in the bottom of the tank is being "cooked down" and continuing to fill on top of it makes the juice progressively thicker.

I use the Boge LR single coil 2.0ohms non-flanged two hole (1mm each). I got mine in a group buy in February and only had one cart with an issue. On average they have been lasting 4.5 days. I toss them when the flavor becomes too muted and the draw tightens some. I DIY with 60/40 PG/VG. When I used vendor liquids I was only getting 3 days use. It's the flavors that gunk the coil, the PG and VG wont gunk at all. You can vape unflavored liquid in a cart for several months and never gunk it up.

I got a 25 pack of f16 bore from surevapes about a week ago. Pretty poor experience.
2 boxes SR three boxes LR. I have gone through 8 cartos so far. The taste is funky either right off the bat, or in a couple days.

I had been using smok dual coil 2 hole carts for the last 6 months but figured I would save a few bucks with the boge.
Tried a couple of standard boge with no flange and they worked fine except for the accidental tank dumping through user error.

If anyone is on the fence, avoid the f16 carts. Get a big belly drip tip and a tank adapter ring and go with standard punched boge or smok, or if you can manage to get there in time, ikenvape. I fully regret buying the f16

Out of the last two boxes of Boges XL unpunched cartos, I've had 2 cartos that just died. One died electrically. I was suspicous because of the quality of the vape kept changing, so I tested the resistance multiple times and it kept changing radically. One reading 2.9ohms, the next 3.5ohms, the next 6ohms, back down to 2.9 and then NON. And it stayed at NON. The other cartomizer that died was going great for about 10 minutes and then super hard draw and burnt. The others out of those two boxes were fine.

Actually the current cartomizer I am using makes no noise whatsoever when vaping. Normally I get a good crackling noise, but this one is silent. It still vapes amazingly well though.

I'm a non-PG user so I wondered how well the Boges would work for me and my VG heavy juices, but two tiny holes punched seems to be absolutely fine, no problems whatsoever, and I have no issues with the Boges apart from the two that have died.
