I was just wondering if anyone north of the 49th has ordered a Reo? How was shipping? I'm waiting for the minis to be back in stock so I can order my first but wonder if it's better to ship stateside and then go to pick it up. Then the battery question, can you ship batteries across borders? I will probably find a Vancouver brick and mortar anyway but if it's significantly cheaper then I'll buy the batteries online. Any Reo advice from Canucks would be appreciated!

Step mother has one said it took just over a week. I'm waiting on my first now hopefully be here by weekend or early next week (fingers crossed) toes too.
They're the best thing ever. If you're getting a Mini be sure to ONLY use AW IMR 14500 batts. No other battiery can provide enough amperage to properly fire a LR atty, you'll stress the batt and performance will be poor.
The Woodvil is also designed around the AW IMR batts(18650), though only with regards to size, meaning other batts will work fine but may be a tight fit. I have Ultrafire, they fit just barely.
The Grand can use any 18650, though good quality batts are always preferred - they tend to last longer and hit better. AW IMR or Protected.
BDL batteries are not worth buying imo, Trustfire and Ultrafire are decent.

Reo Grand and Woodvil here. No issues whatsoever. Shipping has ranged from 2-3 weeks to my door after payment.
Wow, thanks! I'm still on the fence about a Mini or a Grand. I do shift work so I would like something to fit in my pocket but if I work late and then early, I would need something that last more than 1 day. So buy a Grand for the longevity and more flexible batteries or the Mini with extra bottles and batts? Any input or exp. will be welcome!
get the Grand. Not much bigger and 18650 batt and 6ml of juice just kills the MINI plus you can do 6v if you want
Get a Grande. It's way smaller then you think. It fits in my hand nicely and can't even see it when it's palmed.
where do you find a reo grand for sale? it's almost time to try something else. I was looking at the ali but this sounds interesting
I believe they are at reomods.com. I think they go for $135 but you have to be quick to order one when there in stock as they seem to sell out fast. There is a thread here that gives updates on when they will be back in stock I think.

Just ordered a black/black reo mini. Looking forward to checking out a mini woodvil in the near future.
I ordered my mini on the 6th - it was shipped on the 9th and I received it on the 18th. This is probably going to be about your time frame too since we both are in the greater vancouver area. And congratz on getting your hands on the best pv ever made!
Just wanted to add that as of this posting time there are a couple of mini's still available on the site. They may not be your color of choice, but then who cares so long as its a reo
