Finding lipo batteries

Hi all,I'm being kind of lazy here,haven't been on the forum for a while and I haven't done a lot of searching on this.Thanks for any help.
After being unable to find any 18500 (490) in stock inCanada I ordered a couple from the states.
Well ,customs returned them,I should have checked first but apparently they are dangerous goods.
I've checked the local brick and mortar shops (Victoria), no luck,and still out of stock in the online stores I've browsed.
I really don't want to retire my REO,anyone have a Canadian source for these?

When ordering Lithium Ion batteries, the shipper has to be certified or they do risk being sent back. Most actual battery companies (like Orbtronic) should have the necessary paperwork on file with customs to allow them to ship into Canada.

May want to check out some of the Canadian suppliers who are posting in the Suppliers forums as well.

This has me worried... I just made a big order from fasttech and part of the order was some 18650 batteries (VTC4s for the IPV3-LI I ordered). Now I'm worried the whole order could get refused....

18650s are not lipos, for future reference .

True I missed that detail when I read the op... I wish I could rig up a way to replace 18650s with LI-POs tho.
