I got my parents eGo starter kits for Christmas and will be giving them to them tonight. I'm not too worried about my mom as she already bought a little purse/ pouch to keep her vaping supplies in. However, my dad works in construction and I'm a little concerned about him keeping up with his PV during work. He doesn't do anything too hands on, he drives and operates a concrete pump...

I was wondering if anyone has experience with vaping on a job site and what yall use to keep up with your PV and supplies? Or if anyone has suggestions? I have been looking at the eGo lanyards as a possibility but I'm not sure how well they "hold on" to the PV.

I work in construction. I have a silver bullet and an ego twist, both with j tanks. Yeah I keep em in my pocket and they fall out all the time, but usually in the truck. But I rather my ego than my silver bullet because its cheaper. But I never have supplies like extra tanks because j tanks are carto tanks

I was helping my Dad build and set some concrete forms for a boat house he's building while visiting over Thanksgiving. I just kept my Provari in my pocket. Just vaped when I could.

Sorry, not much help.

I know that seems like the obvious. My dad tends to be a bit klutzy and I worry he will bust it in half or damage it in some way if he keeps it in his pocket.

Thanks though!

I think the lanyard would work ok. I use one everynow and then with my eGo. Only problem is the choking hazard if it hangs on something.

Does the eGo lanyards hold snuggly? I have a lanyard from SI for my x2 but it is just an elastic band that the battery slips into, it works just fine for me because I sit at a desk all day for work so not too much movement going on. This type wouldn't work for my dad since he is in and out of his truck all day, it would probably slip right out of it. From the pictures I have seen, the eGo lanyard has a metal ring? I guess I'm just wondering if the ring fits tightly or has a risk of loosening up to the point of the battery falling out.

I’m an electrician and carry my e-cig in my shirt pocket with a pocket clip to keep it from falling out.

For smaller ecigs I use Space Pen clips.
Amazon.com: space pen clip

For larger ecigs like Kanger T2s and T3s I use Fenix clips (LD01)
Fenix LED Flashlight- Pocket Clips

You have to adjust them a little to fit your ecig, but they work great.

I'm a certified landscaper and work in hardscape construction (boulders/flagstone/stack-stone/waterfalls). I built my mod for all-day use under conditions in direct contact with heavy stone and machinery. It's a variable wattage (DNA 12) bottomfeeder with 18650 in an alminum project box and an A7 RBA on top. Seems like your folks are just getting started, so my solution is probably moot, but figured I'd represent the dirty outsiders! :toast:

You should get him a pyrex ibtanked tank with cartos (yes there's a slight leaning curve with filling/installing new cartos, but they're VERY DURABLE). Either way, he's in a truck most the time, so the ego should be fine. They shouldn't be dropped, but it can take a slight beating. I am hands on 10 hrs 5 days a week and my ego is still in new condition.

I think hell be pleseantly suprised! If I were you id get the tank setup I mentioned, but it will 3ork for him.

I'm a demolition/remodeler, and have my hands in electrical, plumbing, roofing, ect. I use the Provape1 and keep it in my front jeans pocket. I keep a spare 14500 in the fifth pocket with a spare carto. I keep the Provari in the car. Aside from dust and such on my drip tip, I've never had a single issue. Prior to the Provape, I carried a 650 Ego with a boge LR carto. Tough, dirty work, and zero damage thus far. I hope this helps.

It's a metal ring that goes around it. The only time it would get loose is if whatever kind of clearo or your delivery system came off of the PV it's self.
