I know Imagine mentioned some more new products wold be coming after the first of the year. Any hints on what we might expect??? I'm ready to step it up a notch and I am really hoping for some new mod options (Coolfire or SVD maybe) and maybe a few more clearos like the Aspire nautilus, glass ET or the innokin iClear 30 line. Seems like SI is getting a good working relationship with Innokin and Aspire so hopefully we will be seeing more cool stuff.

I think it will be a SI/Volt MVP ASAP DIY FWD FWIW with VV, VW, BMW, A & W, Lovely Rita OHM Meter Maid, with an iTaste-it-all Quadruple Bypass upper and lower coil 1.5 litre mutant-clearomizer-on-steroids in chrome and fusia paisley bling with removable hog-fop.

.....and it should be 5 cents. (I think my meds are wearing off) :D

If they just offered a glass ET, Maxi or whatever else those coils work with, I would be a happy guy.

I think I have seen multiple times that SI is going to stay in their "beginner to intermediate" niche. However, going to the New Members Forum here recently, a lot of first time vapers are getting vv/vw, mechanical mods, glassomizers and a lot of other stuff that is way above my head. If I had to guess, the day of the stick batteries and pre-filled cartomizers is going to go to Blu's and everyone else is going to go straight for what would have been advanced when I started.

I am actually seeing more and more people going straight to the eGo batteries and tanks/clearos when starting out. Funny when I first started with sticks and cartos I swore I would never be carrying around something as big as an eGo battery. Here I am with three and two VV's, ET's, Mini Novas, T2's and iClear 16's. Now I am looking at the likes of a Vamo or SID, iClear 30's, Pro Tanks and the Nautilus. LOL. It is a sickness. That is why I am hoping the SI line expands. I really don't wanna start from scratch again. My gf just started on my old sticks and mini tanks a few months ago and I have just passed one of my 900mAh Volts and a few T2's to her. She loves them.

I am not trying to bash SI, I love the company but all you have to do is go to the New Members forum and I can guarantee that there are 2 cigg-alike posts for every 30 asking about mods, mvp's, glassomizers, eGos and the like. There are tons of people posting that just started vaping and are already buying a mechanical mod and carto-tank.

I can't say that I 100% agree with this because you have to have an understanding of electricity and electronics to re-build these and too much can go wrong............and there is enough YouTube videos out there to keep a person safe if they don't really know what they are doing.

My wife started with cigg-alikes and she went back to smoking. She is now using an eGo and EVOD and loves it. I bought a vv/vw battery that is smaller and I will still never move to the Vamo's/Provaris/etc because it is just too much. I don't want another hobby, I just don't want to smoke. Having said that, the Protank in Pyrex retired all of my SI stuff. The taste on them is insane even on a standard eGo battery. Add a spinner or the vv/vw I bought, it is crazy. I am starting from scratch and it does suck..........especially for my wallet.

Oh trust me I don't want another hobby either. The main reason I am looking at the Vamo or SID is because I want something that can take a 2500mAh or higher battery. That would last me days and I would only have to carry one device and a small extra battery instead of 2 or 3 eGo size batteries. I would still have a single eGo for taking into places like concerts where I don't wanna be lugging a mini lightsaber. If SI hooks us up with a MOD like that I could deal with not switching out and starting over. I could just deal with the Aspire line. I would grab a few glass eGo ET's and swap out the base and I would be good.

And the main reason you see so many new members starting out with the more advanced stuff is because they see their friends with them. And they look cooler than something that reminds them of a Blu. I have had several people do the same even though I try to discourage them from doing so. I think the failure rate with starting out with advance pv's is higher because it just doesn't give the feeling of smoking a real cigarette and giving you a chance to ween yourself off of them. Start with a cigalike and carto that gives the feeling of smoking a real cigarette. Then maybe go to a cigalike with a mini tank. Then move up from there.

I have wondered where all the newbie questions about stick batteries and cartos have gone here in the SI subforum. A couple of years ago when I started there were all kinds of questions about clogged cartos and which juices worked in the blank cartos and how to clean their stick batteries. I don't see many newbies asking those questions anymore...maybe they're reading the old threads or maybe you're right- a lot of newbies are going straight to egos and mods.

The MVP is 2600 mah. I charge it every other day, but it barely makes it to yellow. I use the a 510 now. I've got a zmax telescopic, several mods with rebuildables, and a cool fire 1. I pretty much only use the MVP now. It's just so easy to work with and not have to worry about charging or changing batteries. I suggest you give it a try.

I like the idea of the MVP but it is a little awkward to take out in public. That is why I would like a basic cylindrical mod with changeable batteries.

I started using the Volt basic kit then moved to the X2 with the T3 followed by the Spinners with the Aspire line. My 2 X2 and 2 spinners where 1300mAh. Now I was thankful that Smokeless Image products got me off a 50+ year PAD habit, but I still hadn't found what I would consider getting the most out it as even with 2 batteries it seemed like every couple of hours I was recharging one of them.

I then decided to get a Nautilus and it was only in 510 and a bit large for the spinner batteries so I picked up a Vamo V5 with a couple of IMR 18350 and a 18650 battery. I quickly discovered that the T3 by Kanger and Aspire from Smokeless Image would not work due to the length of the center pins. So for the Kanger T3 I got the newer base up grade to convert it to the new Kanger head design and that set the two I had up for the Vamo. Now the Aspire was a bit more expensive as I had to just buy them again for 510 which I only replace the Aspire Vivi Nova tan, CE5 and the T3 with 1 each of the glass versions. I've since added the Anyvape Davide 3ml tank which will use either the Kanger or Aspire heads and the Tobeco Kayfun Lite Plus clone. I also got a good deal on a Lambo 6 AP for $40 and got one. I did give all of my Smokeless Image gear to my son who is trying to quit smoking but wasn't happy with the carto/small battery systems by Volt due to short time vapping with them before needing a charge or new carto. Meanwhile I am down to 0 nicotine based juices with no urge for anything higher any longer. I started by the way in early September with my first volt kit.

I got the iTaste vv/vw 3.0 because I thought either would be inconvenient to carry. Less inconvenient in the winter but I don't know where I would really put either of them.

The MVP2 may be good for home so I can charge my batteries and not really need to worry about it but I don't know if I can justify the cost for a home only battery. I have 7 working batteries right now and my wife has another 3.

It's a little smaller than a pack of cigarettes. And the clearo is about the size of a lighter. So it's really not inconvenient at all. I always through the size would bother me when it comes to portability. Now that I have on it doesn't bother me at all. And since you don't need to carry a back up it really is more convenient.
