Hi.

Grrrr! This is so annoying. This user is generating blatant off topic SPAM posts, possibly as fast as the system allows:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/members/147887/unenoshousy.html

It's "pharmacy" SPAM. And when I got to vew new posts about 1 out of every 5 is a drug post from this user account.

And besides, I don't need any Veagra.

Please someone keep ECF spiffy! Kill this account!

Thank you.

Thank you for posting. I am adding to this. These are pharmacy post spams. I reported a couple then figured out that is all I would be doing all night he is posting them so fast. How did this guy get in here? All of the mods are so good at taking care of us that I never see this. Bet it is gone by morning.

Hi ShariR

I wonder about this too. We know that the point of new members having to post to the Newbie forum is to minimize the possibility of this happening. But occasionally (rarely) it seems someone manages to bypass (hack?) the system, get past the Newbie forum requirement, and start with their first SPAM post directly into other forums. Just curious how they do that - but you know we aren't going to find out. lol

It will be taken care of, for sure. This one is really annoying the bleepers out of me though.

There's usually some coverage during the night, but every now and again we all fall asleep. Imagine my surprise when I woke at 5 am and sat at my computer with my first coffee. :D

I think there were over 60 messages posted in a 3 hour or so window.

It was a good kill zone though. Got the blood pumping better than caffiene!

Heh - some mods. This one pushed me over the edge - I submitted a mod application. (I can do this third shift hours.) lol

I used to be on 3rd shift hours...and 2nd shift...once in awhile 1st shift too. Then I finally ended my long unemployment...

What's this second shift and third shift y'all are referring to? I know of a "day" that runs from about 5 in the morning till midnight or sometimes 1:00 am. Then I sleep..

Rinse and repeat! ;)

The International Language forums do not have to post the 5 posts in New Members, would be kind of useless for them - so...it attracts the spam.

Actually, this is the perfect example of what the forum would be like with out the 5 post restriction :)
